  1. haahhaha theres something to look forward to lol Yer 3000 would be perfect even if your very paranoid. I did my first service to my car which was the major service at 90,000kms, the car has currently done 92500 so im probably going to change my oils in around 500-1000kms.
  2. yer thats tru, but his GT-R is just a daily driver. With the occasional "spirit ride" lol
  3. I dont think its doing much damage but i wouldnt say its the best thing to do
  4. 2000kms is a bit extreme lol, 3500 is really if you want to be on the safe side i say.
  5. I would probably try Mobil Synergy too, i find my car likes it better then both ultimate and v-power. See how you go though
  6. haaha last minute cramming FTW. Yer some of the usuals will hopefully come down, hopefully some new faces aswell. We will see how it goes
  7. Hey everyone! Its been a while since we have had a meet, so i thought i would organize one for the Sunday 16th November Location: Water Gardens Car Wash (Opposite Image Auto) Time: 7.30pm Bring: Your Skyline See you all there Ross

Spotted a white GTS-T on kings road, it tooted at us lol Also a blue R32 GT-R with an R34 front, looked a bit weird though but sounded like a jet!
  11. Thats pretty normal i rekon for an R34 GTR, considering I have a R33 GTST and i can get 600 from alot of freeway driving, if i did a few mods like a front mount and an exhaust i would probably get maybe 500 and urs being a GT-R sounds about right! I would get a tune done and see how it goes from there.
  12. Wow just had a good look into these cars, they are pretty tuff. I would still go a stag over them unless i was to get a super Vr4 those things are just plain tuff
  13. highett might be a bit of a drive for anthony though, but i have a few mates who have got work done there and if i was to get anything done i would go there too

Haha yer the ones that are out there now have lasted the test of time and are actually quite decent, with exception to some shocking ones still haha. Your right about XR6 T's being the next tool car though i have begun to see them popping up everywhere - dropped on they're stock 17's on the front and ceptors on the rear, with the fully hektik flutter haha. I havent seen many R31 drivers to stereotype them like VL drivers lol. Although if they have that attitude then i agree with you lol. Speaking of VLs i saw what was probably the worst car i have encountered in my life the other day.. Twas a pink vl, not hot pink like a faded pink, rolling on white holden wheels with pink nuts and lest i forget the fully sick pink neons under the car. I mean wtf is this world coming to lol. Back on topic i saw a silver R34 on melton hiway about 7pm no SAU sticker but looked very clean
  15. ok back to confusion haha! overdrive is off when the light on the dash says overdrive off overdrive is on when the light on the dash is not displayed So basically for local driving it is best to have overdrive on which means the button should be pushed in leaving no light on the dash! Correct or..

Yer i have noticed this too, cars i used to see a lot more i still see but only once in a while. At the end of the day though no point buying an expensive car or a skyline which consumes a sh*t load of fuel and cheapening up on the feul.. Oh yer spotted a silver R33 GTS-T last night near parmellia drive, looked stock as no sau sticker either
  17. i think u mean steves wheels?

Sleep in man, its a sunday
  20. Ah yer i have noticed that, put your foot down and then it just downshifts and revs sky rocket up. Well thanks for your advice man, i will turn it off tomorrow and see how we go
  21. Yer i can see where your coming from, but in my situation, which is not relatively hard driving around the local streets would it be best to have it on or off?
  22. Yer i thought so it doesnt really make sense for it to do any damage the only difference is increased speed! As for the overdrive like i said just opinions i heard - "well Nizmo, my dads a mechanic and him and his boss told me that the overdrive switch is only meant to be used above 70 km's/h and that having it on while drivin on normal ctreets could cause damage, because it forces the engine to stay in third gear instead to changin to fourth and reving lower." Thats from an old thread i dug up lol must just be different people i guess
  23. Thanks for your input, yer i had assumed it would be fine as long as it is not held there for an extended period of time. What about the foot flat to the floor is that bad to do?? I have heard from many that it is but in my opinion i dont really think it is... THen again what do i know lol
  24. Hey guys i have been hearing some mixed opinions lately about the overdrive switch in my car and others. I have heard that its good to leave overdrive on at all times and i have also heard its good leave overdrive off until you hit around 70km/h. I have heard having it on all the time is good for fuel economy too although its not healthy for the gearbox? Is there a definitive answer or is it just one of those "what you prefer" situations.. Thanks.
  25. Hey everybody! Was just wandering how far is far enough to push your stock skyline before you begin to do any damage. For example how far up the rev line is the furthest to go and how long can you hold it there. Also what factors you take into account such as; intervals to do it within, temperature of the engine and so on. I have heard from people its bad to put ur foot straight onto the floor, can this be justified by anyone or is it ok to do it once in a while? Just looking for some opinions i'm sure some of you will have different views.. Please share
