  1. well my wording must be a bit misleading, sorry. The point im trying to get through is what dez stated. You will gain nothing from running that fuel in a NA.
  2. Ok well what do you believe would be the safest amount of time to boost with fuel, if you kind of get what im saying. As in say u fill up your tank from dry and u dont drive the car much how long (weeks or days) will it be safe to boost before you have to worry about off fuel??
  3. hahah im in stitches over here!
  4. The race fuel is a good idea. Do you boost it still with the old fuel?
  5. i wander if hes a member on this forum haha
  6. +1 saw the add but forgot to watch
  7. once again im not after a solution. just wanting to know if it will do any damage, boosting around with 2 month old fuel
  8. they're still trying to get anyone for anything. I still don't get how its illegal after all it states that only if its permanently locked it is dangerous... As your one isn't i would just contest that in court, backed up with a few letters maybe not just one.
  9. theres a few places i know you can get them, if your after a non nissan one im pretty sure boating places have them!
  10. well thats just your opinion.. it could not be souly responsible for it, there are other factors that may have obviously contributed. All i am saying is i dont believe its wise to be running this fuel consistently in a NA. Why not just run it on normal unleaded and you will have no drama's
  11. thats a nice car dude. Good luck with the sale
  12. pwoah that looks soo clean. Good luck with the sale. Also where did you get the mines gear knob. PM me please
  13. nice gts-t mate, i have a friend who might be interested i will let ya know.
  14. looks nice man, undecided about those mirrors but hahah
  15. Yer that would be the easiest solution but i'm not really after one haha. Just want to know if its doing any harm to the car to be running old fuel or if im just wierd for thinking it haha Thanks for the input Just came to mind.. Couldn't leaving the car with a 1/4 of a tank of fuel cause a build up of crap in the tank?

    Spotted Thread

Saw a bayside blue sort of colour R33 turning from bond street onto kings road a few days ago. I have seen it at the same spot like 3 times now haha
  17. Wont do anything in the short term if you only use it once or twice here and there, although in the long run it could rust fuel lines. A mate of mine with a NA MK4 Supra has had the problem wouldn't recommend using it on a regular basis
  18. That looks nice as! nice clean setup you got yourself there!
  19. Wow a full tank on just a weekend thats alot. Yer but usually the ideal environment conditions cannot always be met, winter for example. Well i have a mate who has a TT supra RZ and uses it as his weekender i asked him about what he does and he rekons he will refill the tank roughly once every 2 months. Like said in the article above; "you can see that tanks which are not emptied and refilled regularly can create operational problems" So I'm thinking if you have fuel sitting in the car for a few months and are boosting it with 2 month old fuel that it wouldn't be healthy though..
  20. This guy sounds like he has no idea. Take it back and tell him to get his fax right!
  21. Well if you don't want to try taking it off yourself and you don't want to go back to autobahn.. Maybe goto a workshop if your that desperate but be prepaired to pay some $$$
  22. no doubt these days its very hard.. See how you go with the service should be fixed
  23. try posting in the NSW threads
  24. Hi all tried a search couldnt find anything... Just wandering, i know quite a few people on the forum only use there cars as weekenders (R34 GT-Rs etc). The thing i want to know is if the car is driven only on the weekends the time for a full tank of fuel to be used could be like 2-3 months or so.. The question being wuldnt the petrol go off or have a reduced amount of octane within it which would meen driving the car at full pelt would not be reccomended?
  25. Is it ever driven lol thats like 3000kms since manufactured
