  1. Really depends... Given your height - R34 Fuel economy - S15 Cornering - S15 Power - R34 Cop attention - S15 More unique - R34 Depreciation - Not really 100% sure but i would say the R34 So overall they're both pretty even it really comes down to your taste mate. We cant really make a decision for you there.. Good luck

  18. Hey all! Im Ross only new to the forum, been here for about 2 months now. I am the proud owner of a DEAD STOCK 1998 R33 GTS-T 40th Anniversary Edition. Brought the car in early July. Its my first import coming from a Mazda 3 SP-23 then not sure if i upgraded or downgraded to a BF XR6. I have been in the import loop for a while now never taking any notice to skylines though, I was always a Supra boy wanting to get an RZ or a GZ but couldnt find any that where appealing to me. After looking for about 4 months I decided just to stick with the XR6 till something special came along. A few months passed and my mate then purchased a 1996 GTS-T, went for a drive with him and at that moment the skyline bug bit, i instantly joined this forum reading hundreds and hundreds of threads familiarizing myself with the good old RB motors and just skylines in general. I decided i was after a late model R33 GTS-T over a GT-R simply because of practicality as it was going to be my dailiy driver (have not ruled a GT-R out as a weekender yet). Went and a had a look at quite a few GTS-T's none which really tickled my fancy, then i came across this one which was so so clean, the only let down being that it was an auto although it didnt worry me too much as i can just convert it later down the track. Since owning my car i havent looked at a supra in the same light since . Anyway I created this thread as sort of a diary you could say for my cars progress as I am planning to undertake some work on it in the future and i thought that it would just be a good idea. Dont really have any major plans at the moment for the car, maybe just few small things before i decide to do something a bit bigger . Feel free to leave any feedback opinions or advice Enjoy...
  19. yer ur right on there economy and the new p-plate restrictions along with coppers really cracking down doesnt really help the whole selling situation. The market at the moment just sucks ass. Just leave the price as it is would be my opinion and wait for the right person.. Its dropped quite enough already!
  20. yer sunshine isnt the greatest of places to keep your car haha
  21. hey dude. Yer definately sounds like the cluster has carked it. They are common things to find either at a wreckers or even ebay there are a few going for around the $100-$200 mark. Even check the for sale threads there might be some up there also. hope it helps ..
  22. haha yer it is very clean, cant get over that coincidence or what small world. Yer the auto was a bit of a downside but i went looking at a few others although i couldnt find one as clean mine now so i just got it, thinking manual conversion in the future but who knows. Hows your car going?
  23. yes lol got it from that place! how did you know?
  24. Not a problem mate. Im not sure your probably right 4/98 is the newest i have ever heard though. Well i have definatley seen at least 10 genuine MP 40th anniversaryies, been quite a few for sale lately on car sales lately. I am assuming there might be another 20 though that we just havent heard of but i dont think i will ever know. Feels good but having such a rare car though doesnt it
