From what I understand... A Map sensor will need to be retuned everytime you do something different to the car from what I understand but wont stuff up, Where as a afm will sort of 'adapt' to minor mods but can stuff up.

Now that you mention it, it does look lopsided. I couldnt even do anything that spec to my car but appreciate the drift pig look alot
