er, i wouldnt be doing any fixing yourself at all (regardless of how easy it is after reading the faq) id be taking it back and telling them its knocking and make them fix it

its pretty easy to tell if a car has been looked after or not make sure you get one that has, otherwise you are buying a massive expense

if a car runs rich, it will blow lots of black smoke get a decent tune and its less

yer, i seen the bullet mx5 with the big v8 shoehorned in there there were a few other engine conversions done on mx5s as well maybe a nice turbo rotary would go good also

if you care about fuel consumption, dont buy one also, i cry when i look through the for sale sections on sau and see all these beautiful cars at such low prices ud have to be mad to buy from a dealer make sure you get the car checked out by someone u trust before buying it skyilnes require lots of maintenance that said, i service my car every 5000kms and its never given us a hint of trouble she runs as well today (proabably better) than when we got ours nearly 4 years ago

meh, i read the wheels write up of the mustang 500 vs the vauxhaul/monaro 500 (supercharged monaro) they said it was near on impossible to launch the mustang without wheelspin and that the monaro was a better all round car by miles they couldnt get the mustang under 14 seconds, which is pretty slow for a 500hp car

dude, i dont think you can do much better than that i have exactly the same specs, and i get about 350k/s a tank around town and about 550 on the highway doesnt matter whether i baby it off boost the whole tank or not any money says when you reverse, you can smell fuel also ive replaced my o2 sensor, had the car retuned by matty spry (he said the original tune wasnt that bad anyway) made a tiny difference (went from 300ks a tank to 350) i think r33s are just thirsty cars oh i have a 80ml throttle body as well on a forward facing plenum

if people want to see it, it should be able to be seen i have no issues with it
