yer, ive been watching the o2 sensor readings on the hc seems to be working correctly i havent cleaned my afm woudl it being dirty affect its readings? ill check and see what sort of voltages its reading;

yer, it doesnt seem to matter whether i boost it or not, my economy is still bad which leads me to think its something else i would hope that the tune was done propperly, coz it cost a f**king fortune, surely i shouldnt have to tell my tuner to tune not just for WOT but for normal driving as well???? the economy was bad with the stock ecu anyway, so im pretty sure that the tune, while it may not be helping, isnt the issue there is always a strong fuel smell when i reverse, but i can never smell fuel in the boot area after running the car im interested in the evaporation issue the aussie fuel filler/nossle issue that was bought up before, and i pm'd the guy from nissan silvia who fixed his economy by replacing his charcoal cannister (he reckons he did nothing else) so, im going to hook mine up again also my o2 sensor is brand new ive had a heap of fuel hoses replaced as it was discovered that they were perishing (along with every other hose in my engine bay that ive had replaced) this problem just seems to common, so many of us suffer from such bad economy i want to know what causes it and how to fix it

i peronally would have just bought a manual i know a few places that do it (toyko toys) and have done conversions for mates (admittedly, engine swaps at the same time) the end product has always been unsatisfying with the car being sold on

mate, id be happy with 400k out of my tank ive just filled up with optimax tonite, ill fill up again when i hit 100ks;

surely ud get misfire before it would affect fuel economy though?

yup, my afrs are almost spot on 12 as well doesnt seem to matter if i put around on low boost not boosting or drive around on high boost not not boosting perhaps a bit of highway running gets me slighter better returns, but id be lucky to see 400ks from a tank (nearly got 400 driving back from stanthorpe) also, my charcoal cannister was also unhooked when i had the fmic/plennum done hence the original post im going to get my cannister hooked up again anyway, just to see if it makes a diff;

i think we should i love my car, but its sending me broke i need some money back ps i still use the stock bov my fuel economy seems to have gone out the window with my fmic install also got a forward facing plenum with ford throttle body at the same time

yer, i dont go on fuel gauge, but use the trip meter and how many litres i fill up on if i drive til empty, i could probbaly squeeze 350 generally its 50 litres for 300ks

what power you making bunta? retune wifey wont like it; ive already spent hundreds of dollars on tunes (switched exhaust, retune was another 300 on top of the origianl 600) surely for that amount of money, it wouldnt just be a power tune was done at mercury

yup, that sounds about the same as mine i dont get why we are getting such bad economy, yet other skylines making more power in some cases, get much better economy the bloody car costs me enough as it is, just keeping it on the road, would be nice to get a petrol break, and squeeze an extra 100ks out of the tank

yer, i get it as well everything still works so i just leave it to dry out
