    plans

i got my dump pipe through batmbl here on the forums was excellent chased up a secondhand gtr cooler cheap, which meant i could spend a bit more on converting the plennum to forward facing (less piping, less hassles) got a good quiet blitz exhaust for less than 500 bux from option1 (they had plenty to choose from)
  12. im with erin; id be going to see camerons they are always working on drift spec vehicles
  13. rob bliss does good work he did my mirage years ago i picked up a quiet hi flowing blitz exhaust from option1 for 450 bux only 1 tip its actually too quiet, im thinking of ditching the extra muffler for a bit more roar
  14. i have also replaced the standard intercooler with a gtr cooler up front i relocated my pod down into that space awesome in dry conditions in the wet, i just take it super ez to try and minimise the chances of sucking up water
  15. heh, nice work bet my wifey could beat your wifey though
  16. same finish as i had my custom plenum done in although this setup looks much nicer than mine, but with more curves
  17. dont know much about manuals eh? i can start on boost i just rev up (to say 5000rpm) let clutch out, revs drop slightly boost comes on straight away voila, lauching on boost! im sure if autos were the shit as you preach pops, that gtrs and other performance cars would come in auto as standard they dont seem to though do they? autos have their place though (drag cars, cars for people that are easily distracted and need two hands on the wheel at all times, taxis)
  18. as much as i love my skyline, i realise the dream cant go on for ever (DUE TO THE PROHIBITIVE COSTS INVOLVED) couldnt go back to a slug, so was thinking sometihng like a b4 liberty more sensible still fun
  19. haha yor funny old man i know who would win with an auto vs manual with same mods id say most 200kw manuals would put pay to your 220kw auto besides, who wants to drive an auto? not me i aint no taxi driver (even if i do have 4 doors)
  20. it was more than that car was in a bad way after i had my custom plenum and intercooler done went there to get it sorted for 300 bux, the car drove out of there worse than it went in i asked john about enginemanagement when i was there he looked me in the eye and told me that powerfc would NOT be able to be used on my engine due to the custom throttle body and plennum, and that i would need to go microtec or a more expensive option even funnier when i went back to get the POS boost gauge fixed (that i was going to be charged again for) that john tried to sell me a powerfc (he also blamed my plennum for the boost gauge issue, even though thats how the plennum was when THEY installed it) went to motsons, and for half the price, the car was running how i wanted (simple things like resetting tps and the timing was WAY out 32 degrees advanced or something) btt had done work for me before and was ok, and it was why i went back there despite many people telling me of their horror stories i should have listened to them I GOT HAD im seriously considering going to small claims to try and get some of my money back considering what i paid for and what i got
  21. whoops sorry meant coopers plains!
  22. DO NOT GO TO BTT i had some work done there and they over charged, were rude and did shit work something as simple as getting a boost gauge installed sold me a shit gauge, tried to charge me to fix it (even though they sourced it and installed it) also coudlnt diagnose simple issues (tps needed resetting and timing adjusted) i woudlnt trust them to work on my push bike will never go there again mercury did some good work on my bro in laws car and i know lots of others that have had good work done there chapman and chapman used to service my car and always did good work also, but were exxy
  23. anyway i can adjust the stock wastegate to run lower boost? my current setup is just using a bleed value and it never gets higher than 6psi in the wet, i take it ez and use the right foot method anyhow, but was hoping i could use this as a back up method to shut down boost my pod has a stone guard/shield between it and the wheel and since ive had the pod installed here, have jacked up the front end, so it doesnt ride so low, but it does have the inner guards removed
  24. Im wondering how low a boost setting I can run with a power fc and its boost controller on a stock turbo series 1 R33 gts-t? Basically i have my pod mounted where teh stock intercooler used to be behind the front bar and am hoping to be able to turn down the boost when theres a lot of water on the road to minimise sucking up water any ideas how low a boost i could run on a stock turbo?
  25. shame your not willing to come to the southside camerons at 8mile plains do awesome work for a price that cant be beat
