yar, i have zero car fixing skillz and no tools so theres no way id even attempt to service my car myself id much prefer to have someone who knows what they are doing and what potential problems to look for do it ive used chapman and chapman to service my car since i got it they have been ok, id be prepared to try elsewhere (not down the coast however), but no where else really got a good rap, so i guess ill stay there

yer, i got ford blue (supposedly, its not really the same, but does have nice sparkles) i like it

man, i love my nardi wheel OSOO much sexiar than the standard whale wheel

i use and recommend 4 doors i wouldnt bother with non turbo though in for a penny, in for a pound

yer, it could have been northfield coz i had a fair bit of car stereo work done at the same time as well we talked to both mobs about it and both denied that they left the terminals unattached just the service was after northfield . . . . then again, if they didnt need to touch the battery for the service, it would have been northfield anyway, as i said, they have only been minor complaints, just when i fork out substantial dollars i expect them to go to the extra yards; the work they have done on the car has been good (only services, major and minor) and their receptionist is extremely nice and remembers our car which is always nice@!

yar, ive been taking the skyline there since i got it used to drive down deshon street every day on the way to work and always saw nice cars there, so thought id give them a go to be honest, im not 100 percent satisfied with them, but its only been minor things (took over a day to get a service, leaving me without my car for a nite when i needed it, after they told me it would be ready @ 3 in the arvo, car not washed, had terminals only resting on the battery and had to get them reattached, but not sure if that was C & C or northfield) id be prepared to try somewhere else in brisbane, but no one was able to recommend any where else decent and im not about to drive down the gold coast to get my car serviced

i prefer how my r33 looks to the r32 easily i love how my car looks in general id take an r34 over it though, just to get a newer car, the only thing that bothers me about my car is its age (93) it really depends on teh car too i think, some r33's look great, some dont same goes for all the other skylines

yar, i like to wave at other skyline bros/sistas woman certainly gets a lot of attention when shes driving the car cant say we've had any negative reactions cept from some ss driving tard on the way back from the coast one day who took offense to us over taking him

ive got one and couldnt be happier im still a stocker in the engine department though

id take it to a panel beater to get it fixed properly the smaller ding removal places are pretty dodgy and dont do much of a job in my experience

isnt the hicas light coming on a symptom of the speedlimiter (180km/h) wire from/to the computer being cut?

i love driving my car i dont love fixing it id rather pay someone who knows what they are doing and has the appropriate tools and know how i can change the oil and plugs if need be, but i expect to get more than that from my mechanic (ie let me know if there are problems that i may not be aware of) pretty disappointed with this thread; no real good suggestions of other mechanics/work shops to try;

hmmm, found the thread where you had all the problems; did you get your car checked out thoroughly before you bought it? theres no way id buy a second hand car without having it inspected first sounds like the problems you had with your car were long term problems . .. . . . when we got our car inspected we gave the list of (minor) problems to street machines and they happily fixed them before we bought our liner i was unhappy with one of the suspension struts even after we took the car away and they fixed it for free for us as well (as well as the aircon which broke the first day we had the car)
