gah, i split my fuel line today trying to get the stupid fuel filter off racq guy coudlnt even get the fuel filer off the hose when he came and cut it out it had become one with the hoses

my fuel hoses had melted/becomeone with the fuel filter and i broke a fuel line trying to remove them

car is now regularly stopping so ill just take it to my mechanic driving along, u can feel the car trying to stall once it does stall, i start the car up and dies straight away do this for a few minutes and then it starts and goes fine again maybe the fuel pump is had it

i ran my pod in the front bumper for years in brisbane (when we had rain) with no dramas only moved the pod back to the engine bay, coz i got sick of replacing them coz they were so dirty

s1 R33 with 150000ks on the clock original coils and afm, powerfc and 200rwkw iridium sparkplugs put in around 70000ks bosch o2 sensor put in 6 months ago, works fine 12month old walbro fuel pump which hasnt given any trouble yet either no previous issues, until last week, noticed slight hesitation/miss cruising on highway around 2500/3000rpm back driving around town it occasionly shows up, only when car is warm and so far only at cruising throttle, never when getting some stick the other nite driving home from work, was large hesitation, car felt like it was going to stall at 60km in 4th then just stopped and was able to drive home normally later that nite, car started, drove into street and then hesitated, died completely would start, and just stall straight away this happened for about 5 minutes, before i could get the car started, got the car reving and got home left it out over nite started fine the next morning, drove it to my mechanic, where it refused to play up at all got a diagnostics guy out, he coudlnt find anything wrong mechanic seems to think its afm playing up? there doesnt seem to be anyway to make it play up, still goes good when booted, and happily cruises along 99% of the time as well anything i can look out for on the pfc hc to try and determine whats happening? thinking maybe fuel filter? anything else it mite be that i can get investigated?

the distance you drive regularly REALLY REALLY makes a difference normal around town, i get 300/350 ks from my 200rwkw r33 yet, out on a driving holiday last week, i got 500+ ks for highway driving i only ever use BP

ok, bit more info about the hesitation/dying cars been at shop for the last two days of course when its in shop, behaves perfectly, no dramas at all had diagnostic guy come out and check everything, no faults, coils look ok mechanic seems to think that afm mite be faulty? problem has only ever occurred at light load, not on boost cruising at 110 on highway, and then cruising at 60km/h the other nite im looking at changing my afm to a bosch z32 anyway, so mite give that a try fuel pump is a reasonably new walbro, probably 12 months old havent had any issues with it that i know of since install i am watching the pfc hc whenever we drive anywhere now to see if something funny happens with the afm reading when this occurs

i got rattles everywhere, they drive me mental DAMN U COILOVERS!!!!! any tips for rattles as well as sqeaks?

its a series 1 r33 dont know what the igniter module looks like it is raining as well

ok, update car just completely died on me went from small heistation to massive stutter to stalling immediatley turn key on, engine revs just drop to stall immediately let it sit for 1 minute and was able to limp car home damn, first time shes ever let me down

ok, one of our headlights only lights up when it feels like it, but if you beep the horn, usually it will come on? what would cause that? also, car has 150k with original coil packs, had iridium plugs that have caused no problem for 50k at 200 odd rwkw car has just started randomly hesitating, usually at cruise, havent seen it do it at high rpm yet time to start looking for replacement coilpacks? or could it be something else nothing has changed on car in 20k

ive had a cushion button (exedy) in now for a couple of months cant say i ride it hard, but i certainly dont pop the clutch out to get moving low revs, little slip, and away, its just like a normal clutch dont do any high rpm launches

yer, as these guys say, im convinced its more the distance of driving you do than how you drive as soon as i get out on the highway, i get much much better economy, than the normal driving to and from work would easily get 400/450 ks to a tank on the highway, close to 300/350 to from work

maybe i paid just under 400 bux a corner for my falkens (cant remember which falken) and wasnt really ever happy with them not overly grippy (could spin up 1st and 2nd) and in the wet, they were slippery as switched them to nankangs ns2's and immediately noticed they were way grippier and much better in the wet (also had to get my guards rolled, as they scrubbed, no other tyre had before) i guess ill see how long they last

id go nankangs over falkens any day of the week my falkens had way less grip

worth it man cost me 300 bux for a cleanup tune after mercury first had a go car runs 100 times better after matty did his thang

no ecu, no bother once you get an ecu, go see matty spry down the coast

i ate up my HD exedy in a few years as well this time ive gone a cushion button exedy and i love the feel of it grips nice and hard will have to see how long it lasts, was only 1100 to buy and get installed though
