  3. I will be, as soon as i get them, from memory i think i will be able to do it without removing harmonic balancer or radiator, as long as i can get to the adjusting bolt for the tensioner.
  4. I beleive that some of the ECCS systems run the pump for a few seconds after shut down to build up fuel pressure. They do this to minimise the chances of heat soak boiling the fuel and causing vapour lock in the fuel lines. They also have a electronic solenoid on the vacumm line to the regulator to give the rail full pressure. So it could well be your pump building up full pressure.

    Surely someone has one of these ECU's laying around??? Just discovered the only difference between the Auto ecu and the manual ECU for the series one is the ignition timing maps, so either one will do. Thanks

From the MOTEC webpage: Injection * 4 group sequential * User programmable injector current 0.5~12 Amps peak * Battery Comp to suit any injector Ignition Outputs * Up to 4 Ignition Outputs * Versatile Ignition Interface allows connection to most OEM ignition systems including: o Nissan Multi Coil modules o GM EST DFI systems o FORD EDIS DFI systems o Mazda Rotary DFI modules o Many Others Which means you can run UPTO 4 individual injectors for sequential, any more than that you have to run grouped injection and last time i looked the rb has 6 injectors. Same as the ignition outputs, you could run waste spark ie THREE coil packs, but not SIX coils as the RB's have. You need the motec ignition expander for that, which then only uses ONE ignition output from the M4.
  15. Will run a 33, but you would also need an ignition expander, (relatively cheap, around 400 i think), and you would not be able to run sequential injection as there is only 4 injector drivers.

  18. It IS the sun sensor, and the antenna for the radio IS the wire strip that was in the windscreen, was probably damaged onm removel or hopefully for you just not reconnected.

  20. I beleive you have to be doing more than 80 kph, and pulling more than 0.4 of a G for it to work. I think they turn the oppoosite way to the front wheels to bring the arse around and they only turn 1 degree
  21. I know you said A/F ratios are right, but id be inlined to check fuel pressures, high presssure at idle can cause hunting. Also check for air leaks
  22. Air will be hot, granted, BUT, the coolant temp senser cant read from the air, its not dense enough and temp will read low.
