  1. i just did 90 laps in 1:54, in the toyota gt-one race car, my best lap was lap 72 with 1:09.563, i'd have to see 59 before i believed it
  2. my best so far is 1:12:45
  3. what series do i have to win to get the polyphony, ive knocked over beginner nad amatuer, totally complete, now im upto the end of professional, against the polyphonies, and my toyota gtone race car is really no match, i need a polyphony.
  4. they use the M48, all owned by tega, maximum of 1 igntion output and all they can change are fuel and ignition maps, pit lane limiters and so on are all programmed by tega, who can ask for the ecu and replace it with another with no warning
  5. The V8's use an M48 motec...
  6. correct location is AFTER intercooler (preferably manifold), ECU needs to know inlet air temp to make trims to fuel.
  7. just made an excel conversion table, might help you out..
  8. yeah. .8=11.8 .82=12.1 .84=12.3 .86=12.6 .88=12.9 .90=13.2 .92=13.5 .94=13.8 .96=14.1 .98=14.4 1.00=14.7 1.02=15 1.04=15.3 This is of course for petrol, and lambda for PULP is actually a little lower. can you send me your file for your setup?
  9. And another good thing about the motec, you can set up your lambda table and it will adjust the percentage to settings to match your lambda table.... Im having a ball setting mine up, and what a difference, i have even set different boost pressures dependent on engine temp.... you have one luke?? mind if i look at your settings and timing map, i have timing map set fairley conservativly, although i had it on a dyno yesterday i dont want to run the chance of pinging, waiting for my laptop to be returned so i can set the timing on the road, using a portable 2 channel oscilliscope connected to the knock sensors... not after a fire breather, want reliability more than anything.....
  10. Does it normally take that long?
  11. or run a wire from the coil and poke it up through the seat LOL... Done this to a guy on a fork lift once, as soon as he hit the key he hit the roof......
  12. motec m48, but the settings on the motec are percentage of maximum pulse width. Im running sequential injection so there is only one pulse per cycle.
  13. what exactly are the figures??? Got rpm and boost pressure, the ther figures seem to compacted to be injector pulse width's...
  14. What oil do you people with autos use in youir transmission. I think "Matic D" is recomended but its around $100 for 4 litres....
  15. line goes from high pressure side of the intercooler to the waste gate, then a "t" piece, the "T" peice runs a hose the the boost control solenoid, then from there to the hose that runs from the standard BOV to the low pressure side, (between turbo and AFM).
  16. yep, solenoid only dumps some pressure back to the low pressure side when its powered...
  17. I had a turbo 4 banger on a dyno, stock (small) intercooler. Ambient temperature of around 20 degres, intake temp pushing 70 degrees.... at a mere 8PSI.
  18. Thanks, but i picked up a tacho signal from the ignition output to the expander...
  19. thanks all, got it running, just took it for a run, bit of tuning to do but after i run it to work tomorrow ill check out the data logging and make some adjustments. Only problem is that there is only 2 PWM outputs, im using one for boost control and the other for idle speed, so i have no tacho at the moment.....
  20. Any one help me out with the settings for these. Oscilliscope shows the standard 360 slots for the Reference signal, but the Sync signal shows 6 windows, ALL with varying Duty cycles, or widths. Im using the ignitiion expander with the M48, so i can run all six coils, but i cant seem to find the correct Sync settings. Any help with the settings wouldbe great, the motec page shows setting for the RB26, the RB 30 and the RB20, nothing for the 25... and those other setings dont seem to work...
  21. R33GT has one for sale, i think he wanted 150 for it, dont know its details though
  22. could also be either your clutch is dragging or your spigot bearing seized, not allowing the input shaft to spin freely of the engine. Is it only going into third or other gears as well?
  23. You will probably find that from the 33's up the spring would have stock MAX boost at around 3 PSI. The boost solenoid then switchs the flow from the manifold on and off (PWM) to allow the higher boost, ie 5-7 psi. The reason for this is so if you have a major sensor failure and go into "LIMP" mode, the max boost you can have is 3 psi. (no power to solenoid, no boost)Try disconnecting the solenoid for boost and see what your maximum boost is, i'll wager its VERY low. The waste gates on the 32's as far as iknow are NOT ECU controlled, therefore it IS the sprind in the actuator that controls max boost, therefore its only ONE stage, not 2.
  24. no, thats not what you said, and i would have come and got it, thanks anyway....
