  1. A huge thanks to all the skyline guys that entered. Huge numbers, really impressive stuff. We'll be back next year with a slightly improved format; later start on the day and a car show on sunday! See you in a year!
  2. The imports have taken the title for a second year with a sizable number; Domestic Total : 2034.9 rwkw Import total : 2919.1 wkw Individual cars; Import Adrian 432.0 R33 Import Andrew 421.7 R32 Domestic Dave 395.4 VZ Import Vince 360.9 R33 Domestic Phil 339.7 XB Import Luke 311.3 R31 Domestic Paul 310.3 VE Domestic Brad 257.0 WK Domestic Brendon 219.8 VX Import Chris 203.6 R33 Domestic Shaun 194.2 VZ Import Nick 191.0 R33 Import Todd 188.1 Aristo Domestic Lee 184.5 XW Import Kaits 174.2 R34 Import Mark 145.4 Chaser Import Daniel 143.4 180SX Domestic Travis 134.0 EB Import Ryan 120.7 Colt Import Kevin 119.8 Stagia Import Rob 107.0 R31 The skylines really boosting those import numbers. Thanks everyone for a good day and I look forward to see you all next year! Note: Gary, I do not have a score for you. Can you please email me.
  3. Dyno has been repaired! We are all go for Saturday. 10AM @ Boostworx. Yes, there will be a few spots, just come down and be first in.
  4. Still no word if the dyno is fixed; I will be checking on Monday and posting up the outcome. * fingers crossed *
  5. Sorry everyone, but this event needs to be postponed. The dyno at Boostworx has an issue that will not be repaired in time. The dyno will be moved back 2 weeks to the 13th of Feb 2010. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this will cause. On a better note, it does give people more time to prepare and enter. We still have spots available, so please consider entering! Thanks guys, and sorry! - Brian
  6. Do you know something that I do not?
  7. Google Map link Address is 8/12 William St, Cavan SA 5094 Start time is 10AM Cost is $30 Not full yet. It's free to come and watch. Cameras are allowed, video or photo. Dyno will start at 10AM through till there are no more cars to run. The cruise after is open to everyone. :-) There will most likely be some spots on the day; first in.
  8. Not long to go now. We are still seeking entrants, and have not closed the entries. http://www.toyotacarclub.net/events/domvsimp/ Expected Average power so far; Imports - 250 > 300 Domestics - 280 > 330 Event starts at 10:00 AM through till we run out of cars.
  9. There will now be a cruise after the event also! We've got a heap of spots still up for grabs (no min power required at the moment, and all entries will be accepted unless it's full) Rough estimates for total power; Domestics - 3100wkw Imports - 2650wkw And 5 entries listing more than 350wkw... should be good fun!
  10. We're about half full (both sides) but we have a very high standard. Please apply; even if you don't make 10 zillion kw. There is no cost if your entry does not make the cut, and $30 is a cheap dyno! Not long now, just over 1 Month to go...
  11. Hey guys, We've started taking some entries, but no Nissans! Come on dudes! Those RB engines arent that bad are they?
  12. Entries for the 2010 Domestic VS Import dyno day are now open! http://www.toyotacarclub.net/events/domvsimp/ This is a Domestic vs. Import dyno competition. We have limited entries to 48; 24 Domestic and 24 Imports - then using the top 20 scores from each side to decide the winner. Big V8 Holdens, XR6 Turbo Fords vs. the masters of boost; Toyota Supras, Nissan Skylines and Mazda’s best rotaries. We will be only accepting the top 20 entries from each side and I'm sure it'll be worth watching as some of the highest powered cars from both sides compete for overall honors as they all try to prove the age old question; who is king? The cost of the event is $30, this is to cover the dyno; the event is not for profit. (We are hosting it because it's cool, no other reason) Please apply at; (even if you *think* you dont make enough power, we will let you know if do; no cost until accepted) This event is also one of the first events to be held at the new Boostworx workshop, so check the address before heading down there! Cars under 100kw need not enter.
  13. Pictures now online; http://gallery.toyotacarclub.net/?level=album&id=2
  14. LOL dude, I asked for your name and thats what you told me! I'll go back and fix them up for you. In terms of the 'Now lets try some corners and braking'; I will be looking at expanding the event to a multiple event competition - so the next event will be a Domestic vs Import go-karting for instance, then maybe a drag, motorkhana and super sprint (hardest, due to the insurance and costs). I hope everyone had a great day and we will run the event again next year so I look forward to seeing you all again next year!
