World Time Attack Challenge 2012
bri73y replied to handbrake's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
I remember reading somewhere that the Cyber Evo wouldn't conform to any regulations for any form of racing, it's that sparse on for safety...... In regards to Clubsprint, it's a joke they can do 39's. There should be no aero allowed and they should all be factory bodied. Call if Production if you must. Even the aero in Open will be over the top this year, and dangerous as everyone is hell bent on weight reduction. That Evo wing fail won't be the last over the next few weeks... The lines between classes is becoming greyer every year. my 2 bobs worth! -
Can't go wrong with the Yokos. You can even get the 295's in Medium compound now.

I have, to be honest I found them too hard. Considerably slower than any other tyre i've used.

I've recently had to re-bore and tidy up my block due to a turbo failure. I ended up having to go up 20thou and buy new pistons to suit. These Tomei pistons are in excellent condition, having done approx 2500kms only. One has some marking on top from the piece of exhaust wheel that got sucked in, should clean up fine though. All else are spot on. These retail for around $1700. Looking for $750 posted.

I have for sale 1 brand new never used digital G sensor. This is the Circuit Spec model, very similar no doubt to the Tarzan GBox version. I've never used it so don't ask me how it performs but these units are getting excellent reviews in Japan. Apparently 30times faster than analogue G sensors. Cheaper too than a factory Nissan G sensor. Win Win! They retail for around $700+freight, see below link. http://www.nengun.co...igital-g-sensor I'm asking for $575 inc postage anywhere in Aus. Bargain!

$550 posted. Just PM me if interested.

I paid $650 for mine, any takers ?? Mine is the Circuit model.

Midori make a similar unit, in several different specs. See Nengun as they have it on their site, atleast they used to as I bought one! I've now got my hands on an entirely different 4wd controller that runs it's own G sensor so this could be for sale if anyone is interested. I've never installed it so don't ask me what it's like.

World Time Attack Challenge 2012

I'm with you fatz. It is shit from a spectators viewpoint and in the end that may hurt the event. I actually reckon they should use a control tyre, like a slick used in V8supertaxis, so you can go out and do multiple laps without worrying about overheating/overusing your tyres. It should be like the V8 qualifying sessions, hectic as all shit with plenty of cars and plenty of laps. Now that'd be good to watch. Something needs to be done!! It'll also level the playing field for normal people who don't have a $10,000 tyre budget for the weekend. -

That's just plain ugly, no matter how quick it is I'd never want to own/drive it! Happy for my car to be slower but still look normal. Reality is you'll never compete with these guys anyway so why hack the shit out of your car trying....?? -
Brad at Pro Fabrication has one

bri73y replied to bri73y's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hi Alex, I'm not sure if this suits all RBs but yes it was off my 32. It's Part # 306510 if that helps any. cheers, John -
I have my old Race Series Ross Balancer for sale. I have upgraded to a Ross Trigger Balancer. This is not the Full Metal Jacket version, it is the Race version which is better again. Ross himself checked this out, it's all good! I reckon it's gotta be worth atleast $250-$300 + Postage. Give me an offer guys.
