  1. I was budgeting (because this is a budget build, spent all my money on my bloody R32) on about $2000 for Turbo and Manifold if possible.
  2. I've been down the EFR road, and for some strange reason,........I think I'll try a different road this time...... Thanks for your input so far guys, most appreciated!
  3. Thanks, sounds on the money. 370kw + 1150kg or thereabouts will net a reasonably quick track car that shouldn't break too many things by being overpowered/stressed. Not only that but this car will be rwd so I want good linear power that doesn't create too many drivability/traction issues. I've learnt the hard way that the more you push the power the more you have to upgrade/fix, I don't want to have to do that with this car. Anyone have a cheap alternative to the FP ??
  4. Guys, About to build another track car and want to go down a different route to my current R32. This one will be a rear wheel drive GTT with an RB26 in it. I'm looking for a single turbo/manifold combo that will net around 370kws. Motor will be kept pretty simple with a built bottom end, drop in poncams, very little headwork, running on E85. Looking for 20psi by say 4000rpm. Give me your thoughts please.
  5. Can these be viewed ? Where are they/you located ? Thanks.
  6. I have a complete R32 rear cradle about to come out of my car. The diff is a Nismo GT Pro 1.5 way (worth approx $1500 on it's own) You can have the whole lot, including arms etc for $1750 and I can deliver to Newcastle.
  7. Good - now less typing and more working !!!
  8. I can think of another car in there to be caged too...........
  9. True, however I've had both -5's and -10's, and when the comparison was done some 5-6 years ago the T04z was the single of choice in my neck of the woods. Obviously there's a lot more choice now, however back then not so. EFR nightmare - yes, over or not? I'm not so sure. I haven't turned the key since November as I had an unexpected new addition to the family that's put a temporary hold on my car stuff. To be honest he came at a good time as I was getting ready to walk away from my car given the grief it's given me over the last few years. It will be back up and running in a couple of months for WTAC so I'm sure I'll have more to report then.
  10. They turned out to be too big for my application. Full boost by about 5700rpm is too late for a circuit car. They need more cubes to work at their best. No, moved that on long ago, hopefully to a happy home. Which I should probably check on to see if all went ok with install etc.
  11. I was using -10's, -5's before that. Packed, hot and hard to work on, especially when you have to replace them. A few years back I did a comparison between a T04Z and twin -5's and the twins won hands down on response, from that day on I've been a twin guy. However having said that, these new twin scroll efr's offer a much better result as a single, where response is no longer an issue with a bigger single. I'd love to whack an 8374 on my motor now to do the comparison again as I think it'd probably be close enough in response to now choose a single over twins. Given what I went through, if I was to do it again I'd probably go a single 8374, just for the cost saving in fabrication and ease of maintenance.
  12. I know that I have a pair sitting in my garage at home.........
  13. I towed my GTR back from Melbourne on the weekend, set cruise control at 120kph and it didn't deviate 1 little bees dick off 120kph the whole way. There was not one hill I didn't climb at 120kph and she never saw higher than 2500rpm or lower than 5th gear. 880kms with 1 food/fuel stop in under 9hrs, can't ask for any more than that. Bloody diesel power all the way!!!! And for all those fuel conversationalists out there I averaged just under 16l per 100kms, not bad for a V10 guzzler. The new Jeeps look fantastic Ben, time to buy a new one I reckon....
  14. I'm interested in the roller. Do you know of any major accident damage ? Are the chassis rails all crumpled or still in good nick? Does it drive straight, have you ever had alignment issues ? Can you send me some photos of the car in/out/under if possible. Would also be interested in the wheels, skirts, rear pods, guard liners if you want to package up a deal for me. I tried to PM but you can't receive any new messages...... regards, John
  15. Where's the car upto in terms of being finished ?? Do you know if you can just bolt up a GTR driveline straight into it? How long are you going to wait for this other buyer ??
  16. Is this shell still for sale ??
  17. Regardless of the obvious performance benefits, these shafts will have a cool factor of 100!
  18. I've got things past by saying they are reconditioned, or repaired........
  19. Hi, I'd be interested in seeing some pics of your roller. Not interested in the interior, which you can keep if it lowers your price. Pics of engine bay, underneath, chassis rails would be good. Any major accident history ? Where is your car for viewing ?? John
  20. Where is car located?
  21. Any more pics of inside or underneath? Any major accidents?
  22. UPS give you the most grief with customs too I've found. Must be their processes.... Either way for $2k I'm in! Thanks Trent.
  23. Hi, Do you still have it ? Is it a GTR ? Does it have any major accident history ?
  24. Can the window surround be made to look more oem, ie; not so thick and bulky ?? I would like it to look more stock if possible..??
