  2. i alredy hacksawed that bit of bracket off lol, folowed one of the DIY articles but was for a bosch
  3. did my fuel pump install yesterday, (550hp internal walbro) the thing is i mounted it straight off the original hose, and since the walbro is quite a bit smaller it sits higher then the stocker, and also the filter underneath is alot smaller on the walbro, would it be mounted too low or would it be ok? when my fuel is below 1/4 tank i tend to take it easy anyways, wat do u guys recon
  4. do u mean just the a/c button wont work or the whole climate control unit doesnt work? i take it your talking about the whole climate control display so i doubt the compressors at fault, if u have checked ALL fuses and relays properly, the next thing u can do is check that theres power behind the climate control unit. OR seeing as its just happend after u jump started it, i cant realy see how it would happen but u may have fried the climate control unit seeing as its electronic but id always thought if it was jump started wrong the ECU would get fried 1st. were the jumper leads protected by a suppressor or anything? quite a few r33s getting wrecked here in perth on these forums so u could probly pick up a climate control unit for under 50bux atleast it eliminates that. or take it to an auto sparky lol

  9. get rid of that compliance cat too, probly 2.5inch in and out & restrictive as all f**k
  10. will be keen after i hear how it fits on a r33 seeing as its china
  11. ive seen a fair few pics of gts-t's with gt-t wheels on them, but ive also heard stories about the fronts fouling the writing on the caliper by 1-2mm. ive always thought the r34 has bigger brakes therefore r34 wheels should fit an r33 but not the other way around ? i dont realy want to shave the caliper as they've just been freshly painted. ive got a 1996 series 2 btw.
  12. compression?
  13. id be keen keep us updated
  14. you wouldnt even feel a person hit that thing! i mean... what
  15. was just thinking this today as i noticed my safcII reading a bit higher then it normaly does. when i first installed it i didnt think the knock function worked coz it always stayed on 0, then after about a week i noticed it would read 1 or 2 & after a long drive it read up to 12 but today after slapping it around corners in the wet lol it was reading 16. all my readings are at idle its never read anything other than 0 under load. does this sound fairly normal?
  16. are the regular NGK plugs copper? i bought some BCPR6E-11 plugs today (these must be the V-power ones coz they got that grove in the electrode) just wondering if these ARE copper plugs as the guy behind the counter said they're just regular plugs. btw they cost $17 for 6
  17. double sided tape did the trick, excuse the crappy fone pic. i recon the front end looks alot better now of yeh i ended up using my apexi safc stand to hold on 1 side of the plate lol, came in handy
  18. ill probly end up using double sided tape n see how that goes as for it being illegal on the drivers side thats probably true, but a stupid law as ive driven past speed cameras on both the left and right hand side of the road. cheers fellas
  19. theres a few good stickied threads, read them yet?
  20. my work is just round the corner from there, on irvine drive, take me for a spin
  21. im thinking of relocating my number plate to the RHS, just wondering how u guys mounted it. i dont really wanna drill into my bumper in case i wanna move it back, but is that how every1 else is doin it? would double-sided tape hold it? im just worried at high speeds if its gonna hold (on the track of course )
  22. yeh mate ur pretty much f**ked unless u do a dodgey i pay 1600 a year, and my excess is just over 4000, and its valued at just over 14,000 afaik OR u can do the dodgey like some guys in my tafe class, they insure the car under there mums name & pay only a few hundred each year aswell as cheap excess but u risk not getting payed out if a crash does happen
  23. awsome they were the answers i was looking for, so looks like im gna get a set of coppers. while we're on the topic of plugs, what part number do i need or what heatrange should i get and what should i gap it too. they're going on a usual sub 200rwkw rb25 running 10-12psi, im also gonna be changing to splitfires the same time as the spark plugs go in. cheers
