Ok, just had a weird thing happen with the 33. Hasn't been driven for over a week, so i take it for a quick spin around the block. Get home and can smell burning rubber, popped the bonnet and the power steering belt has decided to walk off the pulley by one rib, but only on the pump pulley? Belt is not over loose (possibly a little loose, no adjustment left, time for new shorter belt!) Going to check harmonic balancer bolt, just to be on the safe side.

Pretty much depends on the magistrate on the day, and what else prosecution comes up with. If the magistrate can see it as a simply mistake, and he's having a good day, you might be lucky. Go with Dohmars suggestion, get a lawyer or solicitor, grab some character references off past employers or the like and see how you go. Best of luck with it though, it does just sound like a simple mistake though.
