  1. Im guessing you bov is atmospheric vent? If so, there's your problem right there. Nearly everyone on this forum will tell you the factory bov is the best, unless running crazy boost levels. Its a matter of the ecu being tuned for the bov, yes an aftermarket ecu will solve the problem, or a nisstune.

  7. Yeah we had the GCA guys and the engineers using the outside water test booth. Testing the hard tops and the convertibles. Only plant in the world with a test booth like GMH

  16. Other option would be a high flow using std housings and 3071r cartridge, pretty sure its similar to HyperGear's G3
  17. I know a few worskshops were doing one or two, but an old Merc with either an Rb30dett or 2jz. Still retaining Hubcaps on wider steel rims, rear window venetian and RACV badges on the grill. Or completely left field. Honda City in lemon yellow and brown interior, std wheels running semi's...........and a full Spoon/Mugen B16a with a sprintex supercharger. Can anyone say torque steer!

  20. Well you pretty much answered your own question in parts, as in "stale fuel at the bottom of the tank" and "the fuel get sucked from the bottom of the tank" ! Main reason to refill before a 1/4 or lower is stop the pump picking up so much crap from the bottom of the tank, ie - more fuel=less condensing of contaminents, also helps prevent surging on acceleration and cornering. Takes a fair while for fuel to go off or stale, unless its race fuel which has a shorter shelf life.

    Attendance mainly dropped once there was no prize money in street meets, and also once they stopped running higher competition ie door slammers, pro stock, top fuel, nitro funny cars etc. I did hear (correct me if im wrong) that the major comp meetings were stopped due to the lack of run off at the deep end of the track. So yes, Blob Lame being a tight arse wouldn't help things.

    Yeah Blob Jane will just sit on it till he drops off the perch, then it'll get sold off and turned into housing or something.
