The old "seat of the pants" rule is the best. If it feels faster, then generally it is!
Temperature does play a bit role whether its hub or roller dyno.
The thermo will have removed alot of paracitic drag from the motor.
Shoot out mode always reads higher because of the ramp rate the dyno runs at, hence some exagerated dyno figures but no proof on the track!
Slower ramp rate (more load on the cell) = more exact power figure
G'day, been a guest here a few times before, but figured it was time to join.
Was also wondering how i go about full membership and if you still have th SAU stickers available?
Best remove and clean the boots with silcone spray and a light smear of silicone grease. The gasket around the cover goes hard with time, but can be replaced with o-ring cord available at places like CBC.
I did see a drain set-up for RB30 heads on ebay, was simply a fitting tapped into the rear of the head for extra drainage. Would thios also work on an RB25?
See know that could be the problem lol, but no, standard BOV, Trust Airinx air filter and hard pipe, Greddy 'cooler. Was almost thinking it could be coil packs, but does not miss when on boost (9psi low and 12psi high)
Hoping you guys on the forum might be able to help
I have an R33 GTS-t series II 4 door manual. THe problem im having is whenever im in traffic and on and off the clutch, in a drive through or just getting in the driveway at home, the engine seems to nearly stall. Have cleaned AFM, recently fitted "cheap" dump pipe a HPI split front pipe. Any ideas on what could be causing this little gremlin would be a great help
