Hi guys, I have the following up for sale: -R34 GTR Turbos incl acutators, GTR Dump pipes. These came off my 1999 Model GTR, I believe they have travelled approx 40,000kms. They are in good condition and were not boosted over 1.0Bar. Inspections are more than welcome. In saying that though, it wouldnt hurt to run new coil packs with a smaller gap?? I know larger gap = more spark = more power but as you increase boost I was reading in another thread its actually better to have a smaller gap? I'm still learning all this stuff, quite confusing as there is so much info and sometimes its contradicting haha

just ordered the Yellow Jackets. Cant wait for them to arrive. I did the DIY to my oem coils (wrapped and silicon the coils) and replaced the plugs with NGK copper V power Heat range 7 and re gaped to 0.8. The car was still miss firing at 5k RPM and wouldnt let the car boost over 0.6BAR I have HKS2530's with the actuators set to 1.5Bar. I'm going to try and just drop the yellow jackets in with the spark plugs i have now with the 0.8 gap and see how it runs, if not then I will buy some plugs with a 1.1 gap....

depends on how far you want to take it man. Having owned a 350z, If you plan to keep it NA I would say upgrade the entire exhaust system. Change the Y pipe, Catback, CATS and headers (although this can be pricey). The amuse exhaust system is made of titanium and has an extremely sexy exhaust note. The plenum spacer is a great mod for the zed as it makes it pull alot better top end. The intake is kinda a useless mod and really does not do much for performance except for engine bay bling and perhaps a bit of sound. NA mods for the zed is fairly limited, another thing you could look into is changing the final drive? This may help improve response? BUT If money is no object then I would simply say just to TT it.

Hi guys, I'm on abit of a budget at the moment so I'm looking for some 'mintly' used splitfires. To suit R34 GTR. I would also consider new ones but the price would have to be better than $570.00 AUD delivered as thats how much I can get them for from Jdm land Please hit me up with a me pm if you have something for sale. thanks man. Yeap looking to get some splitfires, hopefully that solves the problem. I guess the coilpacks are about 10yo now so would be worth replacing. What heat range are you running? We gapped them down to 0.8 as recommended by most people on here and the guys on the UK GTR forum.

thanks Delta Force. Pulled out the plugs from my car and they were the NGK copper V power ones. So I replaced them with the same ones heat range 7 gapped to 0.8. Also did the quick fix on the coilpacks (tapped them up + silicon). Unfortunately the missfire is still there. Under WOT the car will feel like its hitting limiter at 5k rpm and only hitting 0.6 Bar of boost. Perhaps its time for some splitfires or does anyone know what could be wrong here? Cheers
