Hi guys, I have the dreaded mis firing problem with my GTR. I will be looking at replacing my coil packs and will be replacing my spark plugs at the same time for good measure. I have done the searches and read the spark plug thread but I'm still confused as to what to run??? I'm hoping a GTR owner could point me in the right direction ie part number or plug At the moment the car has HKS2530 turbos and running about 1.2Bar of boost. Based on what i have read, I want to run the NGK copper spark plugs as I dont mind changing out my plugs every 10,000kms (weekend car). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Firstly great DIY guys... I have a r34 gtr and its having similar issues as some of the ones stated in earlier posts, under WOT the car would feel like its hitting limiter at about 5.5k-6k RPM. I have just noticed this problem ever since it has become colder... I'm keen on trying this out over the weekend as a quick fix till I can source some splitfires. I plan to silicon then tape for extra measure. Although my question is, when a coil pack 'fails' what tends to fail within the unit? Cheers

do you have a model number for the coilovers? Or model? Also how many kms have the roughly travelled? Cheers

do they have the blue lense? also does it retain the power option?

mate, to be honest Im not entirely sure. Can someone please confirm? I thought it would considered GTR and GTT is the same body type?

Yea both are different cars, considering the GTR is like $170k or so its a different ball game. Wont be for another few years before the R35 would affect the R34 GTR pricing. As an R34 GTR i wouldnt want to see my pride and joy depriciating quickly
