  1. HKS cam gears SOLD Custom Manifold, Dump pipe, & wastegate SOLD
  2. I have been going pretty hard up in the Adelaide hills on some of our awesome driving roads for years now, but I am starting to grow up & behave myself (& you can go 100% on the track). My car makes over 130db on the wastegate & flying past old codgers when their windows are down at over twice their speed is not really socially acceptable these days!!! Apparently they are resurfacing the complete track at AIR which will mean we will have a high speed circuit which will be fun. I was getting up to 154mph from a standing start on the drag strip with heaps of time to slow down, so with a run up around the back of the bowl & a gentle bend at the far end of the track there is plenty of room for some serious overtaking missions up the straight. 0 - 300 racing anyone? Yee hah........... Come on summer.
  3. Hi, yes that is the car but now has T04Z on OS 3 litre engine. The TD06s were too laggy for the street & this new setup with smaller cams(272s were 280s!) & std throttles/plenum is much better. I had such a great time the 1st time I took it out to Mallala, that I have been busy changing my drag GTR (which was the "3 litre streeter") back into a circuit car so I can get some use out of it. Thats why I wanted to get some practice today in the street GTR to learn how to drive out there (no proper training or experience at circuit) & I have gone even further back to std with the race car by fitting 2860-10s & 260 cams to try & get more response down low for this small track. I am still expecting it will make over 400rwkw like the street GTR but it is 400kg less & has Holinger gearbox & carbon brakes so should be a lot quicker once I can learn to drive it to its potential - will take much practice. Cant wait to get it out there later in the year. In regards to tyres, I did try to get DZ03Gs but were told they were out of stock for at least 3 months! This first set of Yoko semi comps will be my learning tyres for the street GTR & maybe the first couple of times for the Race GTR so will do the job for me until my skill level increases then a new set of Dunlops will definately be the go once I can get the best out of them.

Will need pick up in Adelaide as is quite heavy! $600

Huge dollars spent to set up & buyer would save thousands on parts & labour as this will all bolt straight on to any RB26/30PG]
  9. Here is my race GTR bay, now being changed around to suit circuit instead of Drag racing.
  10. I am working on Saturday till 3pm, but might cruise out at the end to say hello. I took my R33 out there for the first time on the 1st of this month to a private track day (was mainly porsches, ferraris, lambo etc) I had a absolute ball. I did 4-5 laps each time & by the end I had no pedal left at all. Standard brembos fine on the street, but out there they left a lot to be desired. I had such a good time I am considering changing/detuning my drag GTR so I can get some use out of it out there. By the way, when they say no drifting, they mean it. I got kicked off the track at the end (I missed the drivers briefing so did not know) & they said bad luck go home. Have fun, might see you - if not maybe next time.
  11. Looks like fun, I would be interested depending on when it is. EVOs are great fun, I never got a chance to take my old EVO VIII to Mallala, but I did do a few hot laps around a large oval dirt track in the EVO VII. (Took the paint off the rear panel!) My GTR will need better tyres are the street yokos wont last long out there - is quite abrasive. Keep me posted.
  12. I cant remember seeing that one, must have been the 4,6 & rotor nats back in 2003!
  13. Back in the day...a GTR for all occasions
  14. This is the race GTR back in year 2000 with 13000km on it & new wheels.
  15. Here is a shot of the new fuel system & the separate radiator for the new water to air intercooler
  16. Here are some engine photos
  17. Will take as trade in on my Drag GTR.....
  18. Thanks Brett. A number of reasons. Main one is fairly obvious - No track to race on in Adelaide. Been waiting for years for them to get their act together & I have just had enough. It is hugely expensive to race these cars interstate on a regular basis. I am running a small business that is open 7 days a week. I have a toddler & a new baby on the way. Between business & family commitments it has just become all to hard & I have lost interest. Whoever does buy the car (unfortunately will probably go overseas) will get one of the most highly developed & professionally finished GTRs around at a fraction of the cost to actually build one to this level. It has been awsome to own & drive - wish I got more use out of it but thats life. Full boost has some good photos of it from Heathcote a couple of weeks ago at the LS1 Drag Nationals.
  19. DRAG GTR 1000+HP OS Giken Race Engine, 6 Speed Holinger Sequential Gearbox. $120,000 Immaculate R33 GTR purchased in 2000 with only 13000km. Developed from standard road GTR into one of Australia's highest modified Drag GTRs. Numerous magazine articles including HPI magazine's 3 Litre Streeter. OS Giken RB30 race engine has HPC coated dry sump, ported race head with oversize valves, custom manifolds & plenum, GT42 Turbo, MSD coils, water to air intercooler, 12 x 1600cc injectors, Motec M800 & CDI with datalogging, huge magnaflow fuel pump & custom tank, Dedenbear water pump, OS Giken Quad plate clutch, Apexi hydraulic torque controller, Line locker, ATS 1.5 way front & rear diffs, HKS suspension, Carbon fibre brakes with Strange engineering aluminium calipers, Velo Carbon/Kevlar race seat, Momo steering wheel, custom dash with Autometer gauges, Custom lightened doors, Custom front bar, Deist parachute, Moly Roll cage, Willans harness, HP fittings & quality braided line used throughout car. ANDRA tech inspected. GTR has had limited use due to no track in Adelaide. Best time so far is 9.45 153mph. Has been out of action for a number of years while undergoing further changes & current setup has fresh engine build, fresh Holinger gearbox, brand new paintjob, new intercooler & ignition setup, brand new turbo & wastegate, etc etc. Too many custom details to list. Over a quarter of a million dollars has been spent on this car over the last 7 years. The car is now finished & was tested at Heathcote in mid April. Running only low boost & conservative tuning the GTR ran 9.9 145mph. This GTR is magnificent to drive & has been built by Willall Racing with the best of everything. It has the potential to run into the eights on radial tyres & any buyer with regular access to a track will have no problems doing so. I am looking for an outright sale, but will consider a trade in. If the right sports car came up I may trade the GTR + cash balance for it. A 4WD race car with almost 1hp per kilo & carbon fibre brakes that can almost lift the rear tyres off the ground is an amazing thrill to drive & will impress any hard core driver game to take the wheel.
  20. No. Not even if Jesus was pouring.
  21. Whoa - 4 games !!!!! You guys are keen. Some great scores there. Will come to the next one.
  22. I am thinking about it.. will have to check with Erica re: diary dates. Might even drive the GTR!
  23. Was 453 rwkw. New 3 Litre engine in soon. Same power. More torque. Yee hah
  24. We have changed our plans slightly, originally we were only going to run methanol & slicks & shoot for the outright time records, but due to the lack of track here (& a new baby in our lives), the amount of times I can travel interstate to test the car will be limited. So, the car is currently having a huge water to air intercooler fitted where that polished intake pipe is now, & we are going to tune the car on petrol (the good stuff of course) & run on Radial tyres. As the car has standard body, no chassis mods, still uses normal gearbox(not air shifted), & normal clutch(not slider), the car can run in Street AWD class at Sports Compact meetings. Petrol & radial tyres compulsary. It will take time, & there are many variables (time, money, breakages, luck, etc), but the goal is to run the GTR to 8.50 @ 165+ mph on radial tyres. If we can do it, that will be the world record. Private testing at Heathcote is the next step. Hopefully that will be happening over the next month or so.
