  1. I did get stuck behind sum magnas but they must not ave been as fully sick as yours mate. 246 @ the front wheels 'eh. that must surprise a few people!
  2. Yep. Was a great day - well done Andrew for setting it up. Considering how many SA members there are it would be good to get EVERYONE out for a blast one day. There are rarely any cop hassles & we always have a great time. The Go-karts were good fun too. Lets do it again sometime. Cant wait to see the vids & pics.
  3. There are 2. One is Wade's (Godzilla) - works at Wingfield, sometimes parks it there. The other is GTR 34. Belongs to Vince at One Tree Hill. Both blue, Both awesome cars. Often see them cruising around - makes me wish I never sold my blue one.
  4. If you are talking about the Ford XR6T, no it has a larger air to air intercooler that is part of the Nizpro stage II upgrade kit. Works well, makes 270rwkw & runs 12.96 @ 110.
  5. I am not sure what is happening with my car at the moment.. T.B.A But i'll help Timmy cook.. show him how its done and stuff.. if you need ....
  6. Well thats high power GTRs for you. We put 87.5mm pistons in it.The machinist said it would be OK, & it was.... till 2 bar of boost. Would have been over 500rwkw if had been a normal cool day.Drove the car(with the Holinger in it!) to Pt Augusta on Wed night, then again to Murray Bridge with Erica on thurs night. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet street car. If it held together would have run a respectable time on Sat - Oh well, I was let off the 70 degree track temps. So, have to start again with new block. BUT, now the parts we were waiting for for the race car have arrived, we will shelve the street car & concentrate on the Bad Ass GTR & finish it off. The street GTR has been eyeing off parts on the race car for too long. Time to finish what we started. The slicks are waiting for rims to suit. The engine is built. The car is ready for the engine. Keir is looking forward to some competition - so hopefully soon we will have it ready. Maybe adelaide will see a side by side 8 second GTR pass before too long.It has never been done in this country. And there may be much blood, sweat & tears till it does happen. But when it happens - siiiiiiiiiccccckkkkkk maaaaaaate. Hope we dont meet on the centre line
  7. True. On another note. Alice would be wiked. Not far from no speed limits - I wish. Just lost my licence for the 15th time!!!!! That is not a typo!!! Got to the point where I am learning for my pilots licence. At least up there there is no speed limit. Biggest problem is I cant work out how to fit the wings on my GTR yet.
  8. But I can post my ' Tow ute' time. 12.96 @ 177kph. Hmmm seems that beats dickdick's time now doesn't it!!!!!
  9. Yep. It is. And it has run a nine. And it will again soon. Even if it never ran again, I still pulled the time. Fact is, this dickdick guy has insulted people I know.He should pull his head in & run a decent time before dreaming on & sticking it up other Skyline owners that are nothing but helpfull & decent people. As for my car - it has been off the road for a while(have been playing with other cars) but will be up & running soon with a totally new setup. What will it run? I'll wait & find out before posting on here wont I!!!
  10. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. What a laugh. When will these dreamers learn to actually pull a decent time before blowing their bags. Thats the only problem with these forums - too many dreamers. Did this "10 sec GTR" run at WSID???? probably not.
  11. Yeah, the peckers. I paid to enter & was parked in the spot they had reserved for me.All they had to do was ring my mobile - they didnt need to make a big song & dance about it. By then there was plenty of room elsewhere to park it & theo needed the light under the carport so I was happy to move it. After all that Theo put the S15 on the truck anyway! It has been too hot to race for the last 3 years in a row at this event - maybe they should think about putting it on later in the year or something! Hopefully next year will be more skylines - should of just called it the Rotary nationals this year.
  12. Congrats on the 12.8 matt. I saw the run, that is one great looking car.
  13. Yep. Too many 180Bs, magnas & crappy chookcookers. We should just have our own one next year - still meet with the big group, but then go else where so we dont get stuck behind 16 y/olds in mummys magna.
  14. Yep - he was very excited (he rang me twice!) They ran a 8.6 then an 8.4. I think they were going to crank more boost into it but the temp must have been to hot. Last week he told me that the new engine made 1996hp (4 short of 2000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) When that car is fully sorted it will be even faster. Mario is only in Australia for 12 days so I'm glad he got to see his car run. Mario 8.4, Croydon 8.5, Reece 8.7, Keir 8.8, me 9.4, hmmm bit of catching up to do!
  15. Yep - I agree. Well done to those of you 'crazy' enough to race in such shit conditions. I have raced before in 40+ heat & wont do it again - it just takes all the fun out of it. I am really keen to get the race GTR going now & will hopefully have it ready to test by the wed 17th march test & tune night. The other GTR is licking its wounds in the shed now, after making 480rwkw @ 2bar on the dyno on Friday, we did one more power pull & cracked the block!!! BA BOW.............. unfknblvbl.
  16. The 'race' R33 wont be ready for another month or so - hoping to debut at the Perth Drag combat meeting - maybe. We are making some changes to the street R33 - more boost & agressive tuning - should be all sorted for Sat. But - if it is 40 degrees I dont know if I'll race it. May wait till evening to see if it cools down. I believe Keir is going for the outright record (to beat Croydons 8.55) - hope he does it - will be awesome to see. Also Theo from Brisbane street machines is supposed to be bringing his R32 with a T88 fitted - should be real fast.Ran 10.5 recently & they are looking for 9s. If my street R33 runs, will be hoping for 10s, but being full weight I wont hold my breath. Even if it is a scortcher during the day, it should make for some great night racing. See u all there. Trying to talk Cheeky into racing her car - I think she needs some more encouragement.
  17. Have tested Pfitzner's dog box in my street R33. Very tough, awesome clutchless changes. Have not tested at track as yet, but Theo from Bris street machines has the box in his car for the 4,6&rotor nats next weekend. I think the extra money over the OS box is warranted providing you can put up with a dog box for day to day driving( these things will scare pedestrians when u drive past while changing!!!) Much better than the Trust 6 speed in my opinion, & less than 1/2 the price of the sequential Holinger. Will see if theo blows it up next weekend - if not will definately put new one in my street R33. No synchros is a pain in traffic, but wicked when you want to hammer - nothing like it.
  18. Have fun on the cruise today everyone - nice day for it. Spewing we cant come, we have to go to a wedding - babow next time. PS whatsisname - I tend to prefer long black snakey tracks down smooth bitumen. been laying a few lately - PM for locations if you want to check em out!!!
  19. Yep, had the Nittos (put em on front too so rims would match) Did 2.0 60'. they work much better with big burnouts (suits me!) I was surprised at the lack of entries - only 25 racers (inc 10 comp cars!) Probably more people rocked up for the B&S, but not very busy during the day. Thought there would be heaps of bull bars & spot lights. Oh well, everyone there had fun, it was pretty relaxed.
  20. Who-hoo. Pulled a 12.96 @110 mph today at the Ute Muster with the XR6 Turbo ute. I feel it is now worthy to tow the GTR when the time comes - ha ha.
  21. Woah. That is awesome. Must be running some serious boost & very good fuel. Most we ever got out of my old HKS 2540s setup was 395rwkw.(on std internals & cams) Anyone that gets the chance to ride in that car should do it. There is absolutely nothing on the road that feels like a 500 rwkw+ GTR. Biggest problem is actually finding a road long enough, cause man, they are rockets on a mission.
  22. Drag racing is so much fun. Great to see you guys out there that night. Your cars looked excellent. There are a lot of V8s on the street that dont pull those times. Well done. As far as Micks driving is concerned, yes he is a good driver. Next time why dont you guys swap cars for one run. It amazing how much faster a car can go when you dont own it. ha ha.
  23. What gearbox are you running?
  24. Ha ha ha. You always crack me up Martin. Im happy with the 13.1 - it is a lot heavier than the VY tonner(stock!!!- felt pretty strong for a std car today - ha ha) Besides, you seemed to like it today.Dont know why I always get the irresistable urge to lay 2 long black lines when you are in the car! Yep - I am planning to come out to the Ute Muster - should be a huge event.
  25. Cool. what colour the Supra Rob?
