    this problem sounds all to familiar. i had this problem with my ts2cd. clutch would not engage properly. it ended up being the sleeve and bearing combo. i finally got the right combo after pulling the box in and out 3 times. i wish i could tell you the part numbers but i forgot. however the clutch is no longer in the car so if i find the sleeve and bearing floating around the garage ill get the part numbers.

    yeah i work across the road at Vulcan Steel. i have a good look at it every time it gets driven in.

    Thats what i got in at the moment at 250kw. my mate has just over 400 in his VL with a exedy heavy duty in it. the clutch has been in there for years with hundreds of launches and is still holding.

    100% agree with you there mate. How are the twin plate coppermixes to drive in traffic?? From my experience with twin plates they were an absolute prick when in traffic or stop starting all the time. I pulled out my OS Giken twin plate because it was just way to harsh, especially driving around the city.

    Thanks heaps guys for your input. Definitely has given me something to think about. And yes Ruffels i do want the engine bay to look somewhat standard as the cops don't really appreciate if a external gate is right there in their face.

    Yeah was thinking of buying a smaller turbo, but dont really have the funds at the moment to do so. I thought i may as well do with what i got at the moment. Why would Garrett sell a GT35 turbo with a .63 rear housing option if it is not a real good option??

    Thanks mate will have a look now. With the .82 i have at the moment it iust just too laggy coming on boost. Im hoping that this will make it come up on boost much quicker.

    Hey guys. I'm currently contemplating buying a .63 rear housing (internally gated and v-band dump) for my 35/40 off Hypergear. Just wondering if anyone has used them in the past and where they happy with what they got. Is it brand new gear that you get off them or just reconditioned parts and housings? I will probably end up going with them as it seems to be my best option at the moment.

    Hey guys have 1 used jimm berry clutch to suit rb30 reqiures rebuild. Same clutch used in WHONXT 3,800lbs pressure plate reqiures maching and buttons on clutch plate reqiures replacing sell complete with flywheel. $250 RE-BUILD COST AROUND $220
