You should try my old mechanic Things they f**ked up: - Passing a roadworthy when I had f*cked wheel bearings (wheel nearly fell off), bald tyres and crazy positive camber due to bent strut - Putting BBQ gas in my mate's MR2. Compressor lasted 15 hours before it broke. - Telling me that my engine number didn't match what was on my rego - Setting my mate's idle so low that it stalled every time he stopped at the lights (car was running fine before he got it serviced) - Scratched my Supra's paintwork and denied it - Didn't tighten my wheel nuts. I was able to remove them with my fingers alone. And somehow they still have a good name and charge through the roof. My new mech is much better

Well my mechanic tried to spin both wheels. The left one spun. The right didn't. Turns out the handbrake was on BUT wasn't functioning on the left side so he got confused.

Just went down and owned my mechanic Gearbox is fine. Picking car up tonight. Burning P plates. WIN.

$2500 from the US, plus shipment which would be ridiculous. I talked to the guy that sent me this one though and he said it was tested before it was sent from Japan and ran fine. So no idea what's going on. Just gonna have to pull the box out again and replace whatever is causing the problem. Might actually be the diff (yes they're in the gearbox on transverse engines) Either way, labor costs will be insane. Thank goodness for credit cards.

So that gearbox that took 4 months to source and a shitload of money got put in today.... AND IT IS F*CKING SEIZED.

How deep is it? I've been keyed before and fixed it up with a deep cut and polish.

Would you guys mind if I invited a select number of (acceptable) non-JDM cars? Got a few mates with old school Mercedes and such that wouldn't mind tagging along. Dw, I won't invite falcodores lol.
