Are Apexi pod filters any good? I acquired one for free Might put it in coz I've got some shitty "Monza" one in my car and its clogged up with all kinds of shit.

So my mechanic just went to install my new lightened flywheel... Pulled the old one out, it was a lightened one too Fail. Going down there tomorrow to look at them both and choose which one to keep. I don't want anything too weak for the button clutch that's going in.

Haha good call. He's actually not making money off the clutch. That's the price that his wholesaler gave him. It's a bloody good clutch though. Definitely overkill for what I need but meh

It's weird, coz my mechanic is normally stupidly cheap. Like once he did like half a day of work on my car and only charged me $100. Nicest guy too.

My mechanic was insistent that it would work better with the clutch I'm getting. So I just told him to go for it. I was going to get one anyway. Less drivetrain loss Car is predominantly a daily, but used for hill climbs and track days too. Trying to get a good balance between looks, performance and practicality/reliability.

Farkk.. It's costing me $950 for my new clutch kit. Then another $500 for a lightened flywheel. I can see this trip to the mechanics going well over $3000

I think he charged around $7000 for all that. But every bit of trim was changed from the carpet to the headlining. He'll retrim a set of seats and door trims for about a grand or so (depending on what material is used).

That's why I chose to post a commodore You can't polish a turd, but you can roll it in glitter! Same guy did my Recaros and door trims in cream leather Looks ace.
