Morning. Got pulled over by the cops last night. They went over my Supra looking for a turbo, did a drug test etc. Had me there for 15 minutes and then let me go..... without realising that I was driving manual on an auto license

Need wheels asap for RWC... Otherwise I would spend the extra time getting guards rolled and what-not. 17s are heaps big enough for an MR2 anyway, considering they come stock with 14s or 15s.

Yeah, something fairly simple but effective. I like chrome lip. I'd prefer 17s coz 18s require guard rolling on an MR2 in most cases.

Hey Shan... I'm gonna need me some wheels soon I want 7.5 or 8 wide at the front and 9 or 9.5 in the rear. Preferred style is 5 spoke but open to suggestions.

Sif be happy with a few simple bolt-ons Chad Like Nick said, it's like 170rwkw tops. Buy something pre-modified or with a forged rebuild. Save yourself money on all that shit.

When you're moving faster than 10km/h there is no noticeable difference IMO. The only time it's a bitch is when parking.. but you just let the car roll a bit and it's fine. Like I said, you get used to it

I had no power steering in mine for a few weeks. It doesn't bother me that much You get used to it and don't notice eventually. My workmate has no PS in his MR2. Has gone without it for 15 years and loves it like that. Also, less weight

3 years? Err, I'm 21 UPDATE: My mate has agreed to sell me his MR2 turbo for $9000 Provided he doesn't change his mind I should have it in about 2 weeks. 3rd Gen 3S-GTE motor (from 1995 model), lightly modded (upgraded SMIC, 15psi).

Fark... Can get an aus-delivered MR2 (non-turbo) for $4.5k shipped to Melbourne. For that price it would almost be worth doing the turbo conversion to. Must. Resist. Temptation.

Because it's legal for P platers, yet handles better than the usual P plate cars (Commodores, Falcons etc.) and still has enough grunt to overtake etc. And then there's people that don't care about going fast They buy the car for looks/handling/wank factor.
