  1. Nah. My calipers were bigger than other Supras in the car yard. None of the wheels fitted Had to go down to TTF and trial a few before I could even drive out of the dealership.
  2. Not really. They're just the optioned one. SZ = NA SZ-R = Optioned NA RZ = TT RZ-R = Optioned TT I've just got the SZ with a 5 speed. Mine came with optioned turbo brakes though Pulls up nice.
  3. Kris knows only as much as the rest of you
  4. Well in my opinion when it comes to P plate legal cars, a Supra is a pretty good choice. When I want to overtake, power is only a down shift away I'd love to go ahead with my ZX project but currently I'm not doing so well with money. If that picks up and my investments go well then I may keep the ZX. If not, Supra becomes my only car.
  5. LOL. I saw the same thing at Autobarn at lunch. Except it was a Hyundai Excel.
  6. Well it's really an "auto timer" as it says on the box. Says it works for both NA and turbo. As I said, I had it sitting around and wouldn't mind playing with all the features. Has got a volt meter and stuff on it too. So many useful features. The only thing I won't be using is the engine timer function .. Actually knowing me I probably will. Love seeing people's faces when I walk away and leave my car still on Well the MR2 is sold (obviously, to cover the cost of the Supra). I didn't pull 15k out of my ass The ZX... I dunno. Will most likely sell.
  7. Not a lot really. Just stereo and a few small cosmetic things. Getting alarm/keyless entry installed tomorrow and GReddy turbo timer Had it sitting around the house and Lalin (from AI) said he'll install it. Obviously the engine timer option is useless but I'm gonna use it for the digital speed display, 0-100 times, 1/4 mile etc. Plus it looks cool Blue light will match my interior. Just purchased white/blue LED kit for the dash. The yellowy/green look is dated
  8. Same here. And work mates are being annoying. Getting a bit sick of the office politics around here. Wish people would stop fighting like children.
  9. Doubt it. Either way, I wasn't driving.
  10. Not really. I was in the driver's seat before they got there. When we saw them coming down the road I got out of the car.
  11. Thanks Birds. That clears things up a little bit. And nah I'm still on my P's for a while. I don't turn 21 until towards the end of the year.
  12. That's what I thought when I decided to break the law in the first place... And wouldn't they have issued me a fine on the spot rather than mailing it?
  13. Couldn't find a solid answer anywhere on the net about this. Have heard multiple stories. Some people say "no demerits lost and $150 fine" and another said "$400 fine and 3 demerits". Very confusing. Last night I was caught standing next to a manual car which is in my name. Obviously yes I do drive it illegally, but I wasn't at the time. They told me I would be receiving something in the mail. A) Can they fine me for standing next to my car? B) If they did, what are the penalties? Not so much worried about the fine. The demerits are my concern. Before you flame me, yes I realise I was in the wrong. I'm not denying that. Only doing this temporarily because I won't be able to resit my license for another month or so.
  14. Win.
  15. Nice. I'm just in Beaumaris (next to the concourse). You might have seen me around in either a Supra, MR2 or 300ZX. ...Yeah I'm a car whore Got a mate living in Beaumaris with a black GT-T. Have also seen a guy with a 180SX. Other than that, not too many imports around. I think it's a good thing Makes us look extra special.
  16. Yeah, I see this car every day. I guess the car lives in those apartments. You live in the area?
  17. Don't bother with R34 GT4s... They are RIDICULOUSLY slow. Honestly.. We test drove one last week in manual and it was by far the slowest car I've ever driven. A Lancer is faster.
  18. What brakes have you got on there? Stock? Coz if so then I know what you mean by 'stopping is the hard part'
  19. Well done That's impressive! What's it like having so much power at the front wheels in such a small car?
  20. Well I'm back... I didn't buy any of the cars I just posted. I bought a 1998 Manual Supra. White. Immaculate inside and out. Like new. Comes with some black wheels and chrome lip. Picking it up in a week. WIN.
  21. Leaving work now to test drive these 3 cars at Power Road... ^^ 1993 Auto - $13,000 ^^ 1998 GT-4 (AWD) Manual - $15,000 ^^ 1996 Manual - $18,000 I really want a Supra but I can't really justify spending an extra $5000 just for a manual transmission. I'm only keeping this car for about a year.
  22. Wow, maybe they would hire me
  23. Not when it comes to petrol Less shit FTW.
  24. Love your car man!
