  7. As a Parent...your never ready, Kids are like the ultimate ninja's. They know all of your weaknesses and can reach out and break you mentally at any time.
  8. Nothing wrong with a Playstation
  9. either way you will be good for a couple of years, by then you will need to do a full upgrade due to chips changing socket types and architecture
  10. Spoillt for choice
  11. Advanced Micro Devices, They make Cheaper CPU's and nowday's APU's. Some of the newer AMD Chips are really good and priced in a manner that allows for more coin to be spent on Mobo and GPU. Some manufacturers make Generic Ram that has better Latency than the big names but slightly lower clock speeds...time to OC that shit and same some dollars.
  12. I'll spec up an AMD system after dinner in 17 years I have -Built 6000 AMD systems to date, had 4 fail inside warranty -Built 8-9000 Intel systems and had considerably more fail (upwards of 200) inside warranty (that being said I have built nearly 3000 more of them)
  13. $1500 is doable if you go the AMD route.
  14. I would look at a samsung 840 - 250gb SSD for main drive and a 2 or 3 TB secondary drive that should meet your performance and storage needs.
  15. They are vague as to be flexible enough to fit what they have in stock at the time of building it.
  16. double that budget for something that will perform for 2 years.
  17. Not the systems I build, My job used to be the design and supply of systems to Chrome studio's and Creative Assembly before I took the job I have now. I still build a few rigs for the lads that work there every couple of years.
  18. Last Gaming machine I built csot me $4k wholesale.
  19. Quality Board, CPU Ram and GPU are vital. Spend big money on the board is the best bet long term as they will allow you to OC Stably later on.
  20. Would be keen for this.
  21. I have come to a conclusion...my car needs a name, We have an Ark, a Wedge, A Unicorn and an Abomination...plus others... What should mine be called?
  22. There was a large crowd around the abom demanding to know "what type of sorcery is this"
  23. Come see me, Let me know what your budget is and we can make you something rediculous.
  24. Kawana was good, Excellent club turnout and nice skyline dominance at the meet. A few really stylish Toyota's and some truly horrible excuses for Imports as well. Great company and conversation. McDonalds did not know what to do with us all.
