I spent my day providing enlightenment to my superiors by way of spread sheet detailing the work we have on and the resource cost for each thing, Apparently actually learning what it is we do is too hard so changing the way we provide productivity information and resourcing is easier for them as they can "manipulate the metrics" more effectively with the new Service desk system that crashes 8 times a day.
