Its kinda hard to explain the problem so I will describe it the best I can The hissing noise just appears when the throttles just open up , so if I hold the throttles open in any rpm it will NOT make the hissing noise It sounds like "pssst" then goes away after that The car is idling fine and boosting fine. naut : The car is an R34 GTR its only running the factory boost sensor on the screen , you reckon I should check the vacuum hose ? WYTSKY : I did taken out the AAC valve and put it back on with NEW gasket and I did NOT fiddle with the screw that controls the idle Any more ideas / input ?? Im confused now Thanks boys
  2. Hey guys, I got my stock plenum polished up and when I put it back on again ( new gaskets ) I got this hissing noise coming from around the plenum when the throttle is open up. Its definetely not a vacuum leak because the car is idling perfectly normal and its boosting fine Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

  6. Hey guys, Thinking to do compression test soon on my GTR , ive done it on my Honda engine but to be safe I just ask here. Do I have to unplug the fuse for the fuel pump , if so where is the fuel pump fuse ?? Can I just unplug the CAS instead ? Thanks

  8. what I would to know is it safe to run 1.2bar for the ENGINE , i dont have aftermarket computer whatsoever , my gtr is overboosting ever since i put a modified "twin turbo" pipe and bigger intercooler
  9. so R34 GTR has better dump pipes than R32 and R33 GTR ?? my car is stock at the moment apart from Fujitsubo Legalis exhaust , K&N panel filter and 100mm thick intercooler during the day boost peaks at 1.1bar and at night 1.25bar and i dont have a boost controller .... what should i do ??

  11. Hey guys, I just bought a pair for Garrett GT2860R-5's for my GTR I just wondering the tag on the cartridge says GT2560R , but it does have Garrett p/n of 707160 - 5 Im confused , the seller assures me that they are GT2860R-5 Can someone please clarify this for me ? Thanks

  14. Yupe , as someone already mentioned it before HKS T51R KAI = Garrett GT4294R HKS T51R SPL = Garrett GT4202R HKS T04Z = Garrett T67 of course Garrett units arent as bling as the HKS units
  15. This dyno plot is from a 2ltr B18C Honda Integra VTEC engine , look at that power hmmm so RB engines shouldnt have problem to spool up this turbo
