who did you call, because the best prices we have found are about $450/side for the camshaft covers, $500 for the coilpack cover and anywhere between $300-600 for the cam gear cover...

no price is firm, dont care if you live on the other side of the planet sorry... we had a bloke from america buy this (for $9000 US) but he thought it was up to us to organise shipping etc, and it was a bloody pain in the arse, so no shipping... these are not going down in price, and we are quite happy to hang onto it for as long as need be. cheers

VCT is not all about low end power guys, its also about the efficiency of the engine, this is due to the overlap of the timing between the intake and exhaust camshafts (small duration favourable at low rpm and larger duration at high rpm, because of the time it takes the air to get into the combustion chamber) so essentially due to the increase in efficiency this also in turn leads to increase power and more importantly torque. personally I do not see to many issues involved with fitting the vct to a 26 head, just a little bit of machining required, but no reason why it would not be feasible, We would like to see this carried out, as it may well turn out to be a good option compared to the hks system and could be every bit as effective. good luck with it mate, and if we find that anyone has done this will let you know.

ok, new deal, the head, supertech double valve springs and titanium retainers (all new), apexi v-max cams 260 11.2mm lift (new) and apexi lifters to suit, tomei adjustable cam gears (new), standard valves lapped in, port matched intake assembly, polished camshaft covers, and polished intake plenum (also ported) all for $7200 firm. pics of the set-up soon. will also sell the head bare, if someone gets in first

dont most people make the combined price cheaper? why do you want $50 more for both together or is it just a typo?
