hey all found another way to get rid of the beep without cutting the wire. i simply listened to where the beep was coming from and unplugged the plug that went to the lil siren. heres a video of mine. btw its a s1 r33 gtst. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=no0mmj9DCns hope this helps those that couldnt find the wire. if you cant be bothered watching the video, its a lil orangy yellow box just on the left hand side of the steering column. it has a white plug with wires facing down. on saturday around 1230 spotted silver 32 gtr plates GTR32R on the way to Parklea markets. and had a white 34 drive past at the same spot.

Jetspeed have a shop in Moorebank. the bloke that runs it is Kelvin. Great guy. helped me out with heaps of things. takes his time with everything so things are done right.

thanx mate its a Fujitsubo Jasma exhaust. but ive done some searchs and cant find it anywhere cause it came with the car. dont think they make em any more.

a few people have chopped their stock plenum and had great results. but im just saying from my personal view, i would rather buy one thats made that way. unsure where boosted is bombtrack. RIPS is from NZ and he has a profile on here. just do a search for plenums as this topic has been covered before along with prices

havent done this myself mate but ive seen a bit written on it. some people have cut there original throttle body off their stock plenum and had it moved to the front. personally, i dont think this is sufficient for flow purposes. the second pic shows this. as the stock plenum isnt flowed etc for a front facing, i dont think the air flow would be even going to all the cylinders. RIPS make an awesome looking front facing plenum or you could always go for the GREDDY one and im sure there are more out there. the only thing is that when you put this on, your intercooler piping needs to be changed. must people have cut a hole to do this. i guess it will increase throttle response etc due to the shorter intercooler piping. gl

fair enough. i was just going to say wat im planning to do if you wanted to buy a pod. they have these boxes made up to cover the pod and make it look kinda stock. i was planning to mod the funnel from stock airbox so i can connect it to the new box. then cutting a hole at the bottom of the box to use for cold air piping. just a thought. and i think pods are only illegal if they arent covered. so my guess would be that this method could pass? only guessing. dont take my word 4 it. heres the box but u can get it in black steel installed gl.

i guess ill just give you an example of how mine is set up. oh and +1 with doof for everythign he said. lol ive got a 15 inch sub in the boot of my 33. my amp for the sub is set at half gain (i think thats the safest setting if you dont really know what the sub can handle) and the Hz i just set it at near 80 on amp and put the closest setting to that on my head unit. not ure if thats wat ur meant to do but it works for me. but i guess all subs and amp set ups have diff combinations. i just turn the stereo up to a bit over where i like to listen to it every day, change the Hz to where the sub sounds good and turn the gain up to where it sounds good. give it a try but dont push the system too far or u will stuff it

can i ask why you wouldnt want to get a pod?

havent seen any of them but logically it sounds about right. 1 big injection hole compared to 2 or 4 smaller holes seems like the fuel wont get burnt efficiently due to the fact it has a large clump of fuel coming from the one spot. whereas with the smaller more numerous holes, will have a more even spread and finer mist which in turn (im guessing) would give more combustion in the chamber? god i pulled some technical sounding stuff out of my ass. but i think it sounds right? IMO, for only 100 bucks more, i would get them.

might aswell add to this. pretty old thread. i use: Meguiars NXT generation car wash Meguiars Glass cleaner Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer Meguiars Scratch X to clean those yellowing headlights i usually spray grimy parts of car with truck wash and let it soak in about half hour before i wash cheapest and best tyre shine i use is.............. silicone spray. yep. cheap and effective. stays on for ages. and its waterproof so it doesnt wash off. i use the lambswool mit with bug remover. havent waxed or polished yet. wanna get it clayed back so everything looks new!

does anyone have a scale outline of the RB25 cover so i can make a design and send it??
