  1. hey ronil nice work! just somethin i noticed... the blue piping behind the square cut out for the front bar. is that meant to be for intercooler? if so it should be further down. cause atm it looks like its going to the middle of the cooler wen its shape suggests the pipe would be at bottom. lookin good though
  2. happy 21st have a good one
  3. hey all. got a Speco boost gauge the other week and finally got around to installing it yesterday. omfg.... how shit is the plastic hose they give you in the packet?!?! and the other problem was that my stock hose running from plenum to standard boost gauge is worn out like anything and practically fell apart. atm ive got a dodgy plastic tubing setup just keeping the pressure in. had a couple of minor leaks etc. and the shit plastic tubing (really thin stuff) is running out my driver door and behind front guard highly defectable im guessing. buuuuut... its ok. cause my car is in the shop gettin steering fixed. anyway... i went to PEPS to buy some new fittings and hose to do a proper job wen i get the car back. just thought i would share wat i bought- product number and pic- in case anyone else has the same problem as me and decides to do a good job of it **NOTE** the hose does not fit tightly over the nipple on the back of the plenum. i will simply be using a cable tie to make it fit as i could not find any fittings or T joints that accomodate the small stock tubing. so first thing i bought was some new hose. Product number- VT532, 4mm 5/32 Vacuum tubing @ $3.95/m, bought 2m next was a new fitting for rear of gauge Product number- TFP13-03, No26 1/8 Hex socket @ $1.95 next was a new nipple piece to fit into the above hex. Product number- TFP3-0202, 1/8x1/8 BSP fitting @ $1.95 and finally, a new T joint. no plastic shit. Product number- TFP14-03, P14x3/16 Tee i believe this system would be much much easier to run instead of the one that comes with the gauge. my dodgy line im running atm: new hose top, old hose bottom: Hex piece and BSP fitting, used plumbers tape on thred, bottom screws onto back of gauge, hose obviously goes on nipple at top new T piece! much sexier than white plastic well thats it. will update with pics wen i get car back and get around to installing properly. hope noone get the shits about this kind of topic being brought up yet again but i just wanted to let people know of the parts that are available to make life easier when installing things and so they dont run into the troubles of using the supplied shit thin plastic tubing that kinks and gives wrong readings enjoy!
  4. ah ok. looks like later on ill have to go with Earls lines. cheers craved
  5. +1 with 75 coupe. bigger rims lifts car off ground some more so it can help the front bar get less damage. and suspension changes will help too. and ++++1 for the top secret!! i want it too there is always 1 on ebay. check it out. Jaye PS ur mate did a decent job on the change to the front bar. good work.

  7. hey duncan ive always wanted to know, are the braided hoses from super cheap (around 60 bucks for a kit with i think 5 diff hose sizes) any good? i know they say you get wat you paid for but does it really make that much of a diff wen the hoses are braided?

  24. hey mate im in syd and i believe the law here is that pod filters are defectable. ive had a few blokes that have done my pink slip tell me that its a defect but they just tell me to say i put it on after. i am planning on getting the box for my 33 (the black one, not the wank wank clear with neon lol) and i believe it would protect from hot air getting through the system. i think you would have to make up maybe some flexible piping to get the cold air from the front bar to the box. shouldnt be hard and at least this way you keep ur ass covered if the same rule applies for melb. hope this helps
