  1. I am looking to buy a used (and obviously WORKING) R34 MFD. I understand there are a couple versions, so the only request I have is that it has the following display: I am doing a conversion and mounting in my R32 GTR and am using the dhipgrave @ hotmail.com guide. I would also need the wiring harness/connector and Cover/Trim panel if pulling from a wrecked car. If you have an MFD and any other parts that would work for me, please contact me via PM or email [email protected] I am in Canada and will require shipping. Thanks, Allan
  2. LOL...... Why was 'The Ultimate Pump' created using a Jun 'jobber' Pump Housing ? I think during Jim's 'heavy involvment' he should have asked Shanef for a copy of his CAD file for his new pump housing with EXTERNAL pressure relief adjustment availability. Let's face facts here. 1) The 'NEW' Billet back plate serves nothing more than as a 'name' plate and is a plucebo at best because housings DO NOT flex and to make this statement true (flex) the inner gears would have to be constantly bashing up the inside of the pump, breaking things....get it ? 2) It's an old housing with a new gear. The only thing 'different' is their marketing. Other Aus & NZ companies have done it as well, using Nissan housings rather than Jun.....and did it first. 3) Until NITTO have a website (not the tyre guys either).....they are a worldwide NOBODY. As a side note, I saw a Nitto pump sell on Ebay the other day for $900 AUD......... My thoughts are.....SHANEF's Housing machined to fit Reimax 85mmx12mm Gears will be THE ULTIMATE.
  3. That's awesome ! Do you have a weblink for them by chance ? Is there a 'Forum Discount' being given ?
  4. Hey Dirt, with shipping and other charges to worry about for us International people, would WE be able to simply purchase the Brackets Only ? or maybe pump/bracket ? then worry about the rest ourselves ? I already have an ATI balancer that I am purchasing a mandrel for, that I want to use (rather than the Ross) and the lines etc would be esy to do up here, with nothing but a small package coming overseas then to save $$. What do you think ?
  5. Did anything ever happen with this Group Buy ?
  6. Thanks man....... Your Google-Fu is stronger than mine I'm buying a Reimax anyways.....because it takes more than an upgraded Gear and a Jun Pump Housing to get my money.
  7. Well, because up untill now NO ONE seemed to even know where they came from......even after I asked a few times. Harp on like a child ? gimme a break. I saw user CRD reading this thread and STILL not jumping in. What gives ? Is CRD really NITTO ? Are NITTO parts really 'Jun Jobber Parts' that are resold under the NITTO brand ? .....sure looks that way to me. HHmm....people are 'sourcing pumps through CRD'..... I still can't get a straight answer and what's even more funny, the people that purchased these pumps don't even know for sure. People are quick to jump to their...ehem...'THEIR' defence, when in reality......noone even knows who THEY are. Thanks for the info......and thanks for calling me a child. And the Google comment ? IT'S THE 21ST CENTURY. IF YOU CAN NOT BE FOUND ON GOOGLE, THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG. I'm done.
  8. It's usually always the same story...... No aftermarket harmonic balancer and/or rev limiter pump shock. This pump died from both at launch......broken inner gear.
  9. It's funny you should mention N1. Currently the fastest Street Car R32 GTR in Canada (as the cars are very new to us) is running 9's on an N1 pump ...... Has been this way for over a year and he drives the crap out of it. He ran 10's all last year, then just started running 9's with it recently and all I can say is WOW. I am far too much of a worry'r to run an N1 pump, even on a stock engine....lol...as I have held a broken N1 pump in my hands (not mine).
  10. If the Nitto pump is the best, I want it - simple as that. The secrecy though, surounding it's origins, is really starting to bother me..... CRD could have easilly jumped into this thread and set the record straight, but alas....NOTHING.
  11. Am I not asking the right questions here ? WHO IS NITTO ? Where are 'they' from ? Where do your parts come from ?
  12. But where did they come from ? what market ? WHO IS NITTO ?
  13. This is almost funny now. No-one is willing to set the record straight about Nitto ? Provide any REAL INFO ? Fact: 5 people have bought these pumps recently and although I know Dirtgarage is a very respected member of this forum, please tell me it was simply NOT a case of purchasing them because 'he said so'....... Building this motor is difficult enough, once you get to the bottom of all the BS on the internet and people's opinions. I want an indestructable Pump. This Nitto 'sounds' great, but I want more info. I will use Canadian Pricing and Canadian availability for my comparison that follows: Nismo - $1050 CAD Jun - $1200 CAD Tomei - $1600 CAD Nitto - $1330 CAD ($1400 AUD Shipped) $1.00 CAD = $1.05 AUD = $0.92 USD http://www.xe.com/ucc/ One thing I can't get over is the fact that, although this pump might be good value in Australia, everything is so expensive here compared to North America, I wonder HOW INFLATED the price of this Nitto Pump is by comparison. You guys pay nearly $600 for N1 Pump (we pay $300 on a bad day), over $2200+ ($2950 from JustJap) for Tomei (we pay $1600 CAD tops).....and this can't simply be an Exchange Rate/Money Market thing, because it doesn't add up ! So, can I buy this Nitto pump out of Japan or is there a 'Real World' price for it that is NOT based on simply being a Tomei 'market' competitor ?
  14. This is almost as bad as trying to get a Vipec dealer to post a price in public For the amount of pumps that have been sold around here....SOMEONE must have asked some questions ? How about I make up my own....... Nitto=CRD brainchild. CRD=Jun AUS.....Nitto Pump uses Jun OEM housing and 'custom gears'.........Nitto RB Stroker 75.7mm crank=Jun Crank........ Nitto=Jun 'jobber parts' thrown together outside of Japan ? I WILL BE HAPPY TO DELETE THIS IF I AM WRONG.
  15. Well, once again....... I am still at a bit of a loss when it comes to these 'Nitto' pumps..... Where are they made ? Who makes them ? Who is Nitto ? Info is in short supply. Website ? Manufacturer Info ?
