  1. both Skelta's are entered with Honda S2000 engines...
  2. I had some dramas with mine, but a bleed sorted those out.
  3. clearly the only fix to the problem is to get a real gtr = r32!
  4. I only got to shoot out on Saturday, but there was plenty of action in Group A with Andy Lawson near ripping the rear end of his 200SXR due to the massive performance that car is producing, nothing the NW boys and a welder couldn't fix though. Bill Fulton's GTSt was belting out early 58 second laps while still getting the hang of his sequential g'box and playing with suspension set up. In Group B it was all about Leigh Finnlayson with his Benson Motorsports supported Evo 6.5, at times getting amongst the Group A action! Next Briggsie doing very well in another Benson Motorsports supported car with Rosco in toe. Mark qualified in 17th (64sec lap) thanks to a dodgy tyre gauge. Getting pressures up for race one he actually started from grid position 26 thanks to the field being released before all cars were girded up, but battled his way to 16th on just 8psi of boost, then in race 2 upped the boost to normal and got to 9th outright and 4th in Groub B... massive waiting produced a disappointing day and more action would have followed today. As we left the Icon Autoworkz sports sedan was cleaned up on the start grid by an Improved Production Escort, the damage to both cars was massive as the Icon car was suck in neutral and not moving.
  5. I hear they had issues with it slipping from 4WD into 2WD during Rally Tas...
  6. yeah arms arn't on the list of options allowed.
  7. Rule update for rim options here - http://www.targa.com.au/Competitors/Regula...n/Bulletin1.pdf I understood them to be genuine N1s Paul with very low k's when I got them (they were a guy's spares stock)... I certainly paid an N1 price for them! Give Daz at Just Jap a buzz about an N1 oil cooler, he would almost know the part numbers off his head... I thought Nissan stock had expired, but you can use another oil cooler of the same width, length, thickness and row numbers as a 'mechanical replacment' instead.
  8. further to BT's comments, in my experience the only wheel options I've discovered for R32 GTR are 17x8, 17x9 and 18x9. R33 and R34 GTR had alternate option sizes again.
  9. wheel options were removed in error from the regs, but will be re-included via bulletin shortly. sorry for the confusion. paul - further to your email, lee also took the turbos off my old GTR and replaced them with something else. i doubt he'd be after big dollars for them. they made 260kw on 16psi and 95ron with a 3.5" exhaust with a very very mild tune.
  10. djrift - haha, just wanted to make what does go back in is as neat as possible. gmb - yeah hes pretty hand with this stuff. ps. my new twin turbos arrived today, not gonna do a single conversion for a coupla years.
  11. i had some dash plastics on the rx7 retrimmed to block off some useless controls (heater, cd, ashtray, lighter etc). looks heaps better than the scratchy plastic coating that used to be on display. going to fill the stezza din space with that sheet of carbon and mount some switches and the fc commander on it.
  12. correction, their at damo's place in launceston at the moment!
  13. 1 x set ROH Adrenalin 17x8 (offset to suit GTS-t/200SX etc) with shadow chrome finish and a few marks from general wear and tear. 1 x Firestone performance tyres mounted up (genuine 1000 or so k's usage only). $750 in Hobart, might be able to deliver up north.
  14. hey toffy your inbox is full! i've had to shoot up north and not back till weekend.
  15. Glad you're happy mate. LWR also put on in Tony Longhurst's STi.
  16. correct mate, only cat back though.
  17. currently testing a quife front diff on a gtr for competition, solid upgrade. we got a few in, all sold now. custom quiafe order from but we have access.
  18. yeah the plan is to maintain the regs as much as suitable as they were actually the targa regs before they became the tarmac rally regs anyway. minor tollerences included though are optional radiators and oil coolers are back in, 15% tollerence on exhausts so off the shelf products can be used and thats about it from memory. camera rules remain the same as they're a saftey issue, but include the sub-100gram non metal cage tollerence on lip stick and light weight cameras.
  19. So whats everyone think of the AASA thing?!
  20. no worries damo, i'll be in burnie for rally tas on friday if you're still keen mate!
  21. yours should actually be a home when you get there guesty, send it last night so you could have a play!
  22. They're proving pretty popular so will keep stocks for a while to come. Had two in a car at Bathurst on the weekend, scrutineers took no issue and were happy with them.
  23. all sounds very cool. will the car remain 4wd?
  24. 2 x R32 GTR 16x8 rims, one good, one needs new paint - $250 2 x Dunlop Lemans 215/50/17 tyres 99% left - $110 PM me
  25. yeah the mounts are very easy and because of its size and weight you don't need fancy cams approved metal mounts.
