  1. Your jump is on the DVD (watching it now)... nice!
  2. Entries still open, but discounted entries finished.
  3. Provisional entry list is up... Dave Ayers in the BMS supported alone GTR and I need to make sure I get in the right Type R! http://www.rallytasmania.com.au/rallye/PDF...at%20270707.pdf
  4. cant wait to see the story on today tonight!
  5. the personalised ones are great to give to sponsors too as its all the pro digital sctv footage.
  6. tas180 - he doesn't have any tyres left.
  7. Thanks Guesty, but I reckon it won't be done till October/November now... my roll cage budget has been spent on the engine!
  8. First was the 200SX Then the GTS-t Of couse upgraded into a GT-R next Sold the GT-R to buy a house... Then inspite of searching for another S14 or GTSt I ended buying an RX7 and it should hit the track at the end of the year
  9. sav_man - Yeah I think we've still got some, will check. Duncan& Kel - They will both be worth the wait! The DVD would have been released sooner as dat16 and the SCTV team finished them some time ago, but they all arrived back from production with the wrong covers and these had to be printed.
  10. The Targa Tasmania 2007 2 disc DVD will be out next week if you wana see the action from this year. There is about 7 hours of footage between the two classic and modern discs.
  11. Yes mate that was me, obviously Kylie is a very lucky girl! The photographer wanted to use that shot for promo and I wondered where it was going to show up.
  12. email [email protected] and get an entry kit with all the info.
  13. Yeah I spoke to Spurry about mine, still debating if I want to drag it up and back on a trailer though!
  14. Yeah Rev or Autocraft will have nets and brackets. I dont have any at the moment sorry.
  15. I was planning on it also, but head room is lacking in the RX7 cabin so have chosen not to.
  16. Yeah you do a window net (only Historic Touring Cars are exempt, Targa class used to be but no longer), they cost a bit over 100 with quick release brackets if too lazy to make some up! My cage for the RX7 will look like this. Allow $3500 + about $200 per bar extra. And thats the reduced price if you provide the car stripped and without glass fitted. Painting and padding is also extra.
  17. Also, we only use Motul RBF600.
  18. I've used DBA5000 324x32 on a 260kw/1500kg GTR with standard Brembo calipers, 3" ducting and Pagid RS12 in one tarmac rally... the red paint turned white (cream) on the first stage, and two stages later they were warped with the same seen after each stage. The same set up, the actual whole front brake kit (with skimmed rotors) including 3" ducting but with Pagid RS4/2 was then put on a 225kw/1100kg GTSt and even after a 10 lap race at Symmons Plains the green will go cream but the orange remains orange.
  19. a diagonal in the centre hoop will certainly help stiffen the car and would be handy if the car was turned over. the R32s that I've seen doing track work with R tyres without front legs usually highlight front chassis flex by popping dash vents and or cracking windscreens!
  20. I personally wouldn't spend too much on a Cusco cage if adding bars, if you wanted something better, particularly the front legs I would sell that one and buy a Bond one (under $1500 for R32). They do a harness bar and diagonal in the centre hoop and are CAMS approved. The removable Bond ones are constructed of mild steel and Cusco are chromoly from memory. I had a bolt in one from Maitland Fabrications in my GTR... would always weldin now, but thats not practical for some people.
  21. Welcome Willy! 23rd hey, might have to remind MP of that!
  22. I'll check the PN tonight Roy. Yes ex-Champ car, but will take upto 343 without mod. With some minor notching (can be arranged) they will take 375 V8 Supercar rotors (a mate has this set up on his GTR under 18s). Sullens ran these under 16's on the Rex.
  23. The car has now been found by Police, apparently it was used in a series of robberies and has suffered only minor damage. Very lucky to get it back, but I guess it would have made a hellava get away car!
  24. Thanks Ben
  25. Garry Harrison's R32 GTR was stolen at about 5am this morning from his home on the Eastern Shore. Many of you would have seen Garry at hillclimbs and supersprints. Details on the car: Black R32 GTR 17" Gunmetal Buddy Club P1 Rims with R tyres 6 piston AP Racing front brakes Bride drivers seat Racing Harness GT wing SI rego plates Please yell out if you hear of anything or anything
