  1. Didn't stop CAMS & ARCom making the Porsche 911 GT3, GT2 and Turbo, as well as the Lamborghini Gallardo uncompetitive under the recently released Tarmac Rally Regs!
  2. I ran 26Motorsport's car two years ago and spend under $4000 for the year in running costs and finished a close second in the championship. A well set up GTSt is a very cost effective option as we group all cars into four different groups based on total lap time to make sure of really close racing.
  3. Good idea letting everyone know whats happening down here Mark, for the pics that seem to have screwed up go to - http://trdc.net.au/circuit/players/group/index.htm I look after the series website and from here in will be updating it with images from the rounds. I've got a R32 GTR that I race down here, but plan on soon swapping to the lightweight R32 GTSt.
  4. Don't mean to be picky, but R32 V-Spec don't have a finned diff from the factory.

    R33 Gtr Rims

    SOLD!
  6. My R32 came with two speedo clusters, one said 42ks and one said 155ks... neither appear right. Condition makes me think around 80ks is on the money. My girlfriend has an 1989 Z32 with 52ks displayed... its mint so guessing its pretty well right. I personaly don't beleave anything with an after aftermarket dash. Assume the worst and judge it only condition alone.
  7. PHaTMR30 - Yeah one bottle is just enough for a GTR box. CATKICKER - Its obviously very good for preventive maintenance.
  8. For $1500 you could buy some GTR Brembos, plus another $1200 for 324mm DBA 5000 rotors and say $400 for EBCs. That's similar to the set up I had on my GTR. Then spend $2800 on CSC front kit with 343mm two piece rotors with stainless lines. Very cost effective upgrade.
  9. check out the website for more info TRDC
  10. Big congrats to Tim Filby, very impressive performance and a great result in the WRX for a car that he is no doubt still getting used to in the current spec and still developing. I was disapointed in my times by not even equalling my quickest time of last year (50.38), but brake problems will always cost valuable time, particually at the top of the hill. I still managed to pick up a class in by the looks of it though.
  11. Yeah R tyres make more of a hum compared to a road tyre, but these were screeching sound under side load pressure, like a road tyre under pressure. The car was floating around to much to be on R tyres though.
  12. I've got a video of the R33 run around the 'ring. It's certainly not limited to 180, but judging from the tyre noise I'd say it was running road tyres, not slicks or even R tyres, but good road tyres.
  13. Sorry guys, but any one give me the part number for the genuine Nissan RB26 oil filter? I searched here and looked in the service manual, but can't find it.
  14. Sorry, hadn't seen it for a while and forgot how long it goes for.
  15. If do a search on video.google.com for 'R34' (Some one obviously mis-named it) there is a clip that is 7-8 min or so of a demo race in Japan. Maybe a Nismo festival race?. The video opens with some normal track shots of the Group A Calsonic R32 GTR in the wet then reels off 5 laps from in car.
  16. I got an order within 2 weeks. I guess thats alright.
  17. I had the car scutineered last night. Steve told me its a full field of 45 starters now so thats good news. Some quick cars on the final list too including GTR's and STi's. A last minute entry in Chris Long caught my eye. I'm sure he'll be quick for the low power of his Integra Type R.
  18. sav man - Yeah I am, but there will alway be another GTR sooner rather than latter. May just a as a nice roadie instead. grandmasterb - I was finishing the putting up the $3000 fence at the new house. How can powercoated tube be so expensive? I like it without the stickers, looks a bit more stealthy!
  19. Here's the GTR on the weekend wearing some different boots (Enkie RP02 and RE55s) and showing off the CSC brakes.

    R33 Gtr Rims

Finally dug these out. They don't have gutter rash and are in better condish than I remebered! Look awesome on - R32 GTR & S14/15 200SX.
  22. almost! type a is for various models and type b is also for various models, neither are now model specific. type b was developed as not all pfc use the same underpinning software, in laymans terms - like mac vs pc. although never having tried it, my understanding is that type b software is not compatable with a type a dongle.
  23. My R32 V-Spec II has them, but I have only kept to the tow point of the factory part, cut the rest off, installed a PCV downpipe section to convert the 4"x1.5" duct into a round 3.5" duct and run heat tollerent flexi ducting back to the rotor centre. The item on my car that isn't in that pic is an extra air guide on the castor rods... again, cut and shut the air guide and its now just a bracket that the ducting is braced to.
  24. Waldo will no doubt be quick in the Rex. Anyone game to pick a top three finishing order?
  25. I think its funny how they don't get the use of engrish right, like the R32 rim caps - 'we produce with spartin air'
