  1. williamsf1 - The GTR is still eligible to run and will be for many years, it’s just not fast enough to win anymore! BTW - When wasn't TT expensive to compete in?! The Z Tune is ineligible. Minimum1500 units must be made for models produced onwards from 01/01/2003.
  2. The genuine N1 33 block has the string 24U in the engine number stamp. Normal 32/33 blocks say 05U. The only tricky one... the 33 V-Spec/V-Spec II/N1 also have 24U blocks.
  3. Whats the best repalcement driveshaft boot? The OEM Nissan rubber ones don't appear to last long.
  4. PHaT MR30 - No, my car is still on the hoist without brakes! There was still a good showing of Skyline's all the same, with a new white 32GTR, David Ayers' 33GTR and the usual bunch of 32GTSts headed up my Mark Perry with new livery and a lone 33GTSt that was suffering a few problems.
  5. RAZOR32 - PM sent
  6. So is the Yanack GTR going to do circuit work like i heard?
  7. If I get my new brakes on in time in between going to Qld I'll be running in the Octagon Series round on 30th October.
  8. There might have been a timing glitch on leg two that saw the entire field cop an extra 8 seconds. Garwood might have appealed, but even with the 8 second reduction applied, he was still 6 seconds short of victory. The proposed rules for 2007+ are still being deliberated over and will be a fair while yet.
  9. BMS were the only supplier I could find for CSC. They are made out of Victoria.
  10. Gav - One of the guys that set up CSC used to work for Harrop, so similar ideas I'm sure, but for very tidy prices in compara. Steve Glenny used the four piston 350mm kit front and rear on his R33 GT-R N1 in Targa a few years ago. There is also a 380kW R33 GTR down here that runs on the track in Targa Class that has the same 350mm kit front and rear. That was enough for me so thats what I've got coming!
  11. Surely buying any car sight unseen, let alone sight unseen from another country is the most obvious case of buy beware. Between a number of friends and I, we've bought no less than ten cars through Prestige Motorsport… Yeah there have been a couple of minor problems, but nothing we weren't told about before committing to purchase or that we could pick up on from the images.
  12. I considered the F50 kit, but thought they were over priced for performance. Ended up getting a CSC kit from www.bensonmotorsports.com
  13. Do you just want a good enough photo to get a sticker made? If yes, I'll take a good pic of mine... just dont use the II.
  14. ...and the centre and passenger side vents near always are broken, cracked or are near stuffed. you can buy new ones though.
  15. If you have any concerns just get the modifications engineer approved by transport. Costs like $200 max.
  16. On my final and fastest run I actually launched at 8000! the surface wasn't that grippy so I didn't think it would hurt anything too much. Not having run there before, I thought the course was suprisingly tight. 17. In that case I think I might have caused the wet day at Collinsvale then!
  18. I hear the Silver Evo II is having the wick wound up at Pro Automotive in preparation... I'm still undecided, but I might even lash out and give mine a wash!

  21. I'm after some pads for my g/f's 300ZX that don't dust too much. Any suggestions?
  22. when is the next meet at tarmac? would like to take the gtr for a run.
  23. Forget the GTSt-R...I'm personally a fan of the R31 GTSR 3litre auto by Nismo. Had to be true, the badges and stickers told me so!
