My car being an R32 V-Spec II came with these rims and the Brembos. The Brembos arn't that good seeing what a lard the GTR is, so wanting to fit the 355mm CSC upgrade. They clear R33 17" rims, but not sure of R32 17" rims.

I'm about to upgrade the brakes on my R32 GTR and need to see if the rotor will fit under the rim. I run the genuine OEM R32 GTR V-Spec/V-Spec II 17x8 BBS rims and the car is in Tassie. The brakes are in Melbourne! Anyone able to help?

i personally think matt or satin black would look very midnight racer and extremly cool, but yeah the finger prints and ever having to wash it would be the biggest pain. there was an r33 in nsw done the same, but was repainted in gloss due to prints.

I use Motul Motocool Factory Line. Its a ready product you just tip in avilable in 1l bottles. Have never had a problem with heat on the road or in competition. $15 a bottle.

I bough this brand new Cusco Master Cylinder Brace for my R32, before installing it on the car I found out it isn't compatable with my R32 as its a GTR V-Spec II and has a different Master Cylinder to all other R32 The brace is still in the unopened packet - $150 and I'll send it no cost to you PM me for more detail or pics

Consider the oil you are running too. We used to use a Fuchs product in the track car, swapped to Motul of the same spec and now instead of filling up 300ml from a days racing we might get 50ml.

I wouldn't wast too much time with HICAS, a locking bar might be the best solution and just get rid of it. At high speed,active HICAS can make the car feel pretty nervous.

I'd say Derek Oats (last year's winner) will probaly run his R33 GTSt, same for Andrew Blakney with his R33 GTR. I also hear Bart Dove (has run in Karts and Forumla Vees) might be running a Skyline he's got too. I plan on running the GTR, if I've got some front brakes intime... 26Motorsport now has my Brembos on his R32 GTSt track car. Anyone else running Skylines?

On my g/f's Z its proper heat tollerent caliper specific paint from Repco. Comes in a can and a heap of colours... still looks fresh a year later.

Floody - Yeah thought was was the case. This Coupe (french guard version) had Hyundai's own Alpha series engine... Don't for a moment think that I know this because I'm interested tho!!

Not sure if its been mentioned yet, but was in the city today and parked in Liverpool Street behind a blue Hyundai Coupe FX... strange thing was, amoungst all the stickers on the car (all over it) were some pretty big and proudly displayed RalliArt stickers! Mitsubishi don't have anything to to with Hyundai to they?... I remeber Kia used to buy engines from Mitsubishi years ago, but not Hyundai. It also had what looked like 16 or 17" chromies, extremly low-performance tyres and standard issue 4WD suspension and a badge that said Supercharged! A very proud owner I'm sure the person would be.

With how wet the track was you could have had some real nice scando's happening with 4WD!

stuffed ceramic turbo would be about the only real problem with them to look for, the 32 gtst is tuff as and cheap to fix if anything goes wrong. thanks to the 15 year rule and volume on the market you'll be looking anywhere from about $12-$15 i reckon.
