  1. I assume you mean Pirelli P Zero Corse's? They are OK for street but don't grib that much for the expense and are terrible in the wet. No Falkens have ever impressed me in the wet or dry. If you want excellent performance and at a resonable price, look at Bridgestone RE55s or Dunlop D01J or D02Z. They won't give much more than 10,000-15,000s, but are the best and much of a muchness between the two brands although my preference is the RE55.
  2. That all sounds reasonable. My thought was to try and buy some of the parts before, as you say Gav, spread the pain! So I should be looking at buying pistons, rods, metal head gasket, anything else or major concern? is replacing the cams and upgrading the water pump a good idea? I've bought some N1 turbos and will put an oil cooler on it. i will also freshen up the radiator core.
  3. I'm looking at the costs invovled in an RB26DETT engine re-build. The current engine runs fine, but an update wouldn't be a bad thing. Not including labour, what should i be budgeting for? .....Pistons? Rings? Bearings? Rods? Cams? Water pump? Where possible I would like to use genuine parts or better for similar cost. Can anyone help with ball part figures?

  8. yeah, this was something we simply over looked.... expsensive mistake though. mine has a drama with the throlle position sensor too, appears to stutter when you try and hold revs at different throttle positions. realy pain in the arse.
  9. Nissan Skyline GTS-t M-Spec Engine temp went sky high, lost power and started rattling Dented oil sump prevented oil pick-up... therefore no oil was feeding thru! Unichp, 3" exhuast, 18psi, steel wheel turbo, Bilstien coilvers, Bridgestone RE540s Oil changed every 200km/every second race meet Pulled the engine out, put another one in, retuned it and back on the track!
  10. Does anyone know the production numbers N1 versions of the R32, R33 and R34?
