Depends how he has gone about fitting it i suppose and if its a genuine bar he fitted properly. Looking at the pic its got the series 2 bonnet, bumper, lights and grill. They are all different to series 1 so but i think the guards would be the same, hope that helps a little.

Bit late but no not needle valve as they can be altered, the flow control i was talking about is screwed into the line and is set with a certain flow rate like say 1,2 or 3 litres a minute whatever you want pretty much. It can't be altered its a pre set thing.

I would leave the actuator alone you can just turn your boost controller off and that should run wastegate pressure, would be a lot safer. Still sounds like it could be coils, what gap is your plugs? 0.8mm is the standard most people run with standard coils. Other than thats if its pulling smooth but boost is tapering off would just likely be able to fix that by playing with the settings on the boost controller.

Could be coil packs breaking down re-the shutter hesitation The bad fuel economy could be put down to a worn out O2 sensor.

From what i've seen i think you will find the 33 exhaust is longer than the 34 so you should be able to mod it too suit.

Spotted Alex last fri arvo on my way home (CL11QE) it's been a little while since last time dude.

The cheaper Mobil stuff wont be a full synthetic so just be carefull. I used to run Mobil 1 full synthetic in my 34 and 33 but i have been converted also to the 300v it just seems better and the lifters on the race car are quieter i think the Mobil 1 would thin down and get affected by the heat quicker. Either way i will be sticking to the Motul from now on.

Yeh we ended up in P1, we heard about the cops waiting for us 1 of the guys as we were driving out gave us the heads up so we just made sure we went the opposite way.

Yeh lately i have found diesel prices at the pump stay pretty consistent even through the week, a lot of the time its cheaper than the optimax i put in the 34. I cant say i have ever had a problem getting it but i don't do the amount of km's you do. Like you said its either CO2 out the exhaust or at the power plant making the electricity so i dont see how they can really keep going on about it being zero emmisions.

+1 i couldnt agree more when it comes to being on the Diesel bandwagon my girlfriend and i purchased an 09 Focus Turbo diesel and it is by far the best FWD car i have driven in a long time in regards to power and torque delivery and then you can go and do as good as 5.7litres per hundred km's. Plus its half the price of something lilke a prius and at least it goes somewhere when you put the foot down. Will be interesting to see how people take to this full electric car i have nothing against the idea but im not a fan of the idea.
