  1. I'd have to say if it was the right price i'd let mine go thats actually how i sold my 33 someone offered me 15K for it and i thought time to upgrade and got myself a 34 but in saying that i really love my 34 so would be a lot harder to let go i'd reckon.
  2. oh ok no worries, yeh i was undecided if they would look any good or not on the car.
  3. Pretty sure there is a gap on mine too. i'll try take a photo and post it when i get home from work. Do you wanna sell the weather shields i could be interested?
  4. Can i get a quote on Front slotted rotors for an R34 GTT thanks. Jason
  5. They look pretty dam similar to me but i'd say its because of the Width The GTR having a wider set of TE37's so the dish can be made bigger.
  6. They where factory from what i understand and must of been an option on all series 2's from 96-98.
  7. From your pic its def series 2 you can tell by the straight sides with no rounded corners
  8. Am interested in the air box if it comes with the funnell like stated though i am after it for my 34 do you know if these are the same in 33's and 34's? where are you located?
  9. That is the carbon canister, i'm not sure whats needed in removing it though, wouldnt think it would be too hard though as long as you block the pipes that go to it once they are disconected.
  10. I've seen that grill on a few Series 2's was deffinetly on one i test drove, but after seeing the photo above maybe they came on both??? or has that car pictured been changed its hard to tell.
  11. I have a set of rear standard struts to suit a R33 GTST series 2 with USSR springs taken of car with 80,000km on the clock. PM me i am located in Sydney thanks.
  12. Yeh i am hoping to go up and see Rally Oz too but will depend on if the car is ready for the event or if i have a few last minute things to sort out before scruitineering.
  13. http://www.amsag.com.au/amsag.net/ here is the link its the Southern cross rally series, the next event is at Cowra if my Co-driver bails on me i will pm you for sure, its hard to find good co-drivers.
  14. You will find most likely when he turned of the EBC you where just running wastegate pressure wich is 7psi on a 33 and 34 anyway. Unless he re-hooked the old unit back up.
  15. +1 for loving racing on the dirt Good to see more people getting involved in the sport and i agree its definitely a different experiance racing on the dirt and being a Co-driver. I've done it a few times but i think i will stick to driving and leave the terratrip for someone else to worry about haha. How do you go with motion sickness my co-driver still has to take motion sickness pills just to be safe and because i dont feel like trying to drive whilst he throws up in a plastic bag again lol. I compete in the Amsag rally series in NSW and am enjoying every event in the little Dato though it needs more power. Must be great fun in a WRX.
  16. Hey just after the stock airbox for a R34 GTT mainly after the scoop that leads air into the box but am happy to take both to get it. Pickup prefered in Sydney PM me thanks Jas.

    Top Gear Oz

I agree 100percent with that they need some decent drivers that can actually host a show too.
  18. The reason it could be taking so long to warm up is they might of left the thermostat out this isn't that uncommon. the temp guage shouldn'tgo over half way unless it has a cooling problem both skylines i have owned neither went above half way on the guage even in the middle of summer with the aircon going flat out. I would look at changing the oil pressure sender unit or putting an aftermarket one in before i would gp any further as it is common for them to have a problem i had to buy a new one for my 34 it stopped working altogether.
  19. Hope you mean 0.8mm gap on the plug? I use Redline MT90 synthetic gearbox oil in my 34 expensive to buy but is very good.
  20. I have to say i agree with putting it in the garage and just buying a junker to get around in for the year. You would be better of picking up an R31 cheap it would go better than your 33 with the turbo taken of.
  21. It should work now that cover needs to bleed to atmoshphere otherwise you will not have control of boost from what i can remember with mine let us know how you go.
  22. Sounds like you are hitting boost cut which would mean it is more than likely not hooked up correctly. Have you made sure the boost controller is turned right down? Also have you got the hoses round the right way? does it have an arrow or some indication on which hose should go to wastegate? Also usually the other hose needs to pick up manifold pressure but you say it is hooked to turbo can you be more specific? Also what type of boost controller do you have?
  23. I am looking into getting that same version for my 34 GTT have you got yours already and if so what do you think of it? Also is anyone else running one of these new units on there skyline and what do you think of it?
  24. Correct me if i am wrong but i am fairly sure you can not import a car from NZ unless you live in NZ and bring the car with you when you move to Australia?
