I would like to see one out there but i think they would struggle against the likes of the EVO's and WRX's for the reasons you have mentioned already. There isn't one running in Amsag.

That does sound good but wouldn't be able to make it this year, will have to keep it in mind when i have more funds

Where is the like button lol So what events are you planning to do in the Cordia?

Cordia Turbo? Yeh thick bit of aluminium is the go for the front, you can kind of see mine from the photos but i have a large sheet of aluminium that is 8mm thick and covers the sump and most of the gearbox. I will get you some photos of how it has been fitted to mine so you can get some ideas, we need a rally talk thread haha

Nice What car you building? I don't unfortunately, but it's def worth doing. I just run conveyor belt underneath and on the bottom of the rear arms etc. I am hoping to change to a fibreglass fake floor that is what most guys in amsag run i just need to make one up. The damage the rocks do underneath is quite harsh its like the car has been bead blasted. I am also going to be running some mudflaps before the rear wheels to try and stop so many sharp rocks being flicked/stood up by the front wheels to see if it helps reduce punctures.

Yep sure is, i am looking forward to getting back out there soon and hopefully we can finish the event this time.

Finally had a chance to take the car out for a run and really try out the new MCA suspension, it has made a huge change to the car and certainly helps us be more competitive. Still need to get used to how hard i can hit the jumps now and not have to worry about the car smashing the ground everytime it lands. Unfortunately we had some other troubles that started of with an oversight from me that put us threw a fence and then later on in the day we broke the gearbox. Incar from the crash

lol Keep spotting a White R33 GTST on James Cook Drive most mornings just before 8am

Don't forget to drain the gearbox of oil first as well, specially if your doing it on ramps because as soon as you pull the tailshaft out you will have oil leaking everywhere.

Spotted Alex (CL11QE) at Rouse hill Maccas Drive through yesterday afternoon.

Ages ago we had a car trailer that actually had mini hydrostatic suspension lol. Was good for lowered cars, had used it a fair bit with the 120Y and one day we were up the coast attending a Khanacross. I was unloading the car when i suddenly thought, since when did this car trailer have a tilt function lol. It actually broke the frame in a couple of spots and bent the rest, it took Dad and i a few moments to work out what had actually happened lol. Turns out it had some bad rust issues that had been covered up by a previous owner. Dad had to spend the rest of the day looking for a hire trailer so we could get home and just to add insult i broke the diff in the 120Y on its first run lol.

All good wasn't in my Skyline so you would not have noticed me.
