hey man, its it good condition.... got it out of a working r34 actually.... i though i had a screwed starter thats why i brought it but i ended up needing a new engine so starter is just sitting there.....

hey guys, i have a big problem and want to get some opinions before i do something drastic and waste money. in october my r33 was driving perfect when one minute while i was gearing down it stalled, i put it in gear and tried roll starting it. it just shat itself and came to a halt. when i tried starting the car again all i could hear was a single click (firing pin on start motor) and simply wouldnt even try to turn over. tried roll starting again and nothing wheels locked up but by this time battery was flat so obviously no fuel pump etc working. Some people have told me that it could be the engine siezed but then some have said the starter motors teeth are f*ked. one guy said starter motor could be the problem because if the block was fkt the car would still attempt to start but make some horrible noise. if anyone could help me with what it could be. cheers antoni

Goes very very very well for a non turbo. Everyone i know loves her cos she has balls. dont want to see her go as i wanted to turn it into project car but i need the cash like you wouldnt believe. I thought i had a siezed motor but the harmonic balancer on the car had oil spilt ALL over it and it pretty much fkn up and crank rods gone etc... I dont have time to have someone rebuild so i pretty much want a straigh bolt up and off i go job... If anyone has or knows of an rb25det block complete in good condition or an engine that wants it gone msg me on 0434571079 cheers antoni

i have parts from my rb25de i used the block to rebuild my turbo.... all i did so the compression wasnt f*k was thicker head gasket and its compression is same as a turbo's.... as for downgrading your turbo to NA it doesnt matter if u show the cop the receipts and get on ur knees telling him or her its not turbo,,,,, They dont care because all they say is im sorry look at the engine plate, it came out of the factory as a turbo charged car so im giving you a fine for driving a turbocharged car.... Its pointless cos u will be screwed over by the law anyway ... buy a NA and if u want mine ill sell it to u for 2 grand.... just find a block and ur cruisin

i went to a mechanic a while ago and the guy wanted to charge me $600 for looking at my car and told me i dropped a valve.... after about an hour of taking off the cam gears and cam shaft. i took out all 24 valves and all of them are perfect.... Now taking the engine out tomoz and gonna check the harmonic balancer to see if the block is the problem.... If n e one has piks etc of what they did to a N/A block in order to have it ready to attach a turbo head plz send em... cheers

ye all i want is stock everything... But im not converting the turbo in the N/A i want to put the N/a Block into the turbo shell etc so its less of a f**karound..... so all i need are the water and oil lines done and pretty much not too much... If someone could msg me EXACTLY what to do as i need my car back asap... cheers

Hey everyone i had a real dodgey rebuild done by JapCars on sydney rd coburg which i wouldnt recommend to ANYONE.. whom finished it in less than 24hours and charged me $2000.... Ever since then the car was lagging, misfiring on idle etc.. At the time i though was maybe the turbo getting old but i had it checked and was told turbo was fine but did have traces of oil on the blades... So i did my own little test... The oil line from the top on the engine that goes to the air intake of turbo was actually spitting oil and my oil pressure was through the roof... i took the line off and put a little pod on it and perfect no more lag... Then before u know it im on a highway and started slowing and gearing down and while the clutch was in the car stalled... i was like wtf so i tried roll starting it and the back wheels locked up and a fkt up sound came out of the front... My engine siezed.... Everytime i tried starting it was just a single click coming from the plenum.... Now i have a non turbo r33 which is not even worth selling anymore except for the mint condition engine and now im thinking of using the block from it as ive checked the whole head and block of the turbo and the only problem is the block.... I though it could be possible with putting in a oil return line and a thicker head gasket to lower the compression.... If n e one could give me some hints as i cant really afford to recondintion the turbo block... cheers or if anyone has a complete running block let me know i have a complete rb20 engine and rb25, also have a set of r32 gtr turbos that i could trade... dude no need for the smartass comments, sorry im not a mechanic and know everything thats in the engine. Thanks everyone else for the "helpfull" comments, ye he said the valve had gone and dropped on a piston, he is opening it up as we speak and checking if there is damage to the piston and bore. hopefully its not that bad .... if its worst case scenario (piston n bore fkt) wud it be worth getting another block etc instead of him machining it etc....

price wont change. still the same.... anywhere between 6-7 grand mechanically its in perfect condition but because of the paint im selling it for 6-7 grand, ive had it valued at 10 grand at a dealer if it was to have a new pain job... let me know mate

hey guys, so my car just randomly stopped working etc no signs of it failing and now took it to mechanic. Mechanic called me but could barely understand the bloke haha talking too fast and mumbling. But from what i could understand he said ive dropped/f*k up a valve in the engine and maybe need to bore the block or someshit. Roughly how much does it cost to fix something like that if n e one knows what hes talking about. Would it be easier to buy another complete engine and sell the turbo and other parts to make up as much as i can?

ey ye it will need a paint job, its not rust just mass dustyyy hardcore, i live in a country town lol hahaha. There are just chips but there is no rust issues at all, if there was i wud have gotten rid of it asap....

Bump, urgent sale

Hey guys, im throwing my r33 95 gts up for sale as i need to start renovating house so its gotta go. This is my second car which i rarely driven (I drive a r33 gts-t). Its done 11x,xxxkm, its had timing belt done, regularly serviced by Glam Groups where i purchased the car. It has few scratches on it and front right panel and front bumper have just been spray painted (car paint in can) cos some old lady reversed into it lol. It runs perfect, drive very nice, everything is stock standart except the pod filter. it has 12 months rego and is 5 speed manual. Its silver in colour and thats pretty much it. Im looking between $6-7 thousand for it. Below are some pics (also showing where the scratches are and the km and the front guard. Let me know if anyone is interested.. hey mate u said engine was in good nik, how much you looking for that, my engine siezed cos of a massive piece of road had come out of the ground (due to cracks in the road) and hit under my engine and within 2 seconds whole thing gone...... all i need is engine dont need loom etc not even the turbo.... let me know mate
