i went home and went to sleep lol.. best part of the day yeah i know snapper seasons over but theres still some big ones around i asked a local if this is a good spot he said he usually would of caught 10 salmon in an hour or two.. another said he's been reguarly busted off by massive kingfish so maybe next time..

oh's i forgot.. spotted an R34 with that fugly nismo factory wing on the nepean highway, forgot the plates slow down man... oh and did anyone see the plane crash in mornington? we drove past it not long after it happened.. the wreckage was horrendus

okzzz i just came back from schnapper point. awesome spot... nice wimmenz BUT! no even a bite! it was dead quiet the most iv'e seen caught was just a couple of trev's i caught a star fish tho.... i eventually got so fed up that i put a jig head on a big ass hook to try and jig for the kingfish.. nothing

im gona try johnny's spot if the weathers good have you fished lorne pier? theres some massive fish there. one time, i hooked onto a little salmon and out of nowhere a 45cm long barracuda just nailed it. was hard for an 8 year old kid to reel in but ill never forget it

WIN! im really keen to catch a king now! would any other live bait work? im guessing a popper would work too as it does the flailing/dying fish splashing on the water ash, i recomend gettin back into it. nothing like having that reel scream while you scramble to grab it LOL

save another 10k and buy an R32 GTR! but you should be able to get a cheap R33 to suit your budget.. welcome to the forums

king fish? how big? where!? im not into the gars. mostly into bream, whiting and snapper. but i do enjoy having a fight with the bigger fish. the old man might buy a boat. a 5.1m half cabin cruiser so we might start troling lures if we buy it edit: ashneel i might go out saturday morning to st kilda.. around 10ish with a mate to just play around and try catch some bait. might even let a live one swim for a bit. maybe ill catch a shark

what are you guys catching? im yet to catch a pinky/snapper from land =/ might head up to elwood on firday or saturday and spend an all nighter there. my uncle got a 1.5kg pinky off the rocks and surf

im saving for a bout.. some nice half cabin 16 footers going for about 5k atm im old enough for a rec boating license.. so why not? i love surf fishing! when i lived in perth. we went cottesloe and i happened to cast a popper into a school of tailor. each fish was about 60cm L went fkn off. reeling in a fish at every cast

went to lorne for some fishing today.. caught some nice salmon on the beach but anyway i spotted.. a black R34 GTT, all stock, a white R34 GTT , carbon hood, GT wing, a white audi R8, one of those ferrari f450's watever in red, and that other newer model, 399? in grey. a porka and a tractor towing a boat i waved at the black R34. i was in the maroon Turbo deisel hilux 4X4 followed by a maroon VW golf and a blue ford territory with the plates LTAKIA
