  2. So how much boost can they cope with combined with full zorst, air, fmic, ecu + tune?
  3. Apparently the cars push 147kw at the flywheel in stock form... What are these cars capable of with full exhaust, air intake and boost. I understand that they have a ball bearing turbo capable of handling much higher boost that ceramic ones. How much can they handle? Guess what I'm getting at is these cars would seem to be able to get into low 13 possibly hi 12's with full exhaust, air intake, and a good dose of boost I would assume 14 psi+ (at least more than the standard R33 GTS turbos can handle)? Around 200 rwkw seems possible for less than $2k spent on mods?
  4. Tis ok. Come and tell them to visit Brutus or another GTR with mods. I went from an RB25DET to RB26DETT and I can tell u these things pull harder and much longer. I still haven't pushed the limit to scared stilll. We can restore ur Skyline pride lol. I should not drink so mutch vodka. I can still say post RB26DETT that an RB25DET is still a great engine esp for street drags with much potential. Ramble on.
  5. ............Bollox. Really don't wanna argue but logic says that someone who is interested in drag racing but can only afford a $5000 IS going to get chopped by someone who is interested in drag racing who pours $100 g's into a car. All other factors being equal. Nothing means 0 and it is not 0.
  6. Theres always gonna be someone who'll chop ya. Brutus hasn't been chopped yet but as soon as that modified GTR or exotic comes along I'm sure he'll be put in his place. At the end of the day it all comes down to who's got the biggest wallet in drags methinks.
  7. Yea. I don't usually get into white. But I think those white Volks seem to really set it off. Makes it look more modern too. You shouldn't have too much trouble selling it at that good price. If i was in a position to buy I'd consider it. Whoops free bump before I get warned, whoops 2 late!
  8. Thought I'd check back for developments... are there any? None according to the RAWS search
  9. Did u check ur PM Demon? re the swap potential?
  10. Mostly a daily driver with occasional light track work. Current mods are FMIC, Pods, Cat back zorst and rear strut brace. Am I looking at around 180 kw @ all 4 paws? Boost doesn't kick in till around 3,500 or so. Would like to reduce that a set of twin dumps seemed to work well on the GTST same here? I'm chasing moslty good low rev performance - daily driver with good response minimal lag, as that is where it'll be 85% of the time. Keeping stock turbs for now. Am thinking PFC + PFC Boost Control + Dyno tune for the next stage? 14 psi average safe limit for stock turbs as in GTST give or take? Only ran the GTST @ 10 psi to give me pleny of leeway prob do the same with the R. I'm chasing a nice linear power curve not one of those nothing then all type crazy curves.
  11. I think that so long as the Jap tyres have legal tread on them you are ok under the 15yr rule.
  12. Interested in a swap for a R33GTR?
  13. Did u get my email Troy?
  14. Sounds like a beast, but I'm dead set on a R32GTR series 2
