  1. Recreational Vehicles Gold Coast for the 25t.
  2. Whereabouts in Brisbane are you? I would like to come and have a look. Post an address or phonenumber or something.
  3. Yup. I guess if your were willing to take the risk and speculate on R32 SEVS compliance coming soon then a 92-94 model would be the go. Once compliance is available demand will increase supply will gradually decrease and prices on those will also tend to rise. Increased demand and decreased supply is pushing up 89 models to be close the 92-94 model prices. Note that the June 91 to June 92 models are not eligible for import under SEVS, gotta go post June 92. Prestige has been indicating 32 SEVS compliance will happen this year, but the date seems to be moving backwards towards that 1st Jan 05 - 15yr rule death. Be nice to import a grade 4 94 model and get it on the road for <$30k. Oh and BTW has anybody reading this thread taken a punt on a post June 92 model - hoping that SEVS will come to the rescue shortly?

  15. You'll have to forgive my lack of photographic skills and shaking hands. She's pulling to the right abit perhaps wheel alignment needed not under brakes and not too badly. The brakes are dam squeky, bit comical at the lights. I didn't get up it too much esp since the dealer had put standard unleaded in it (she'll get a good dose of optimax soon. Being a GTST driver most noticeable things were later but harder boost, longer legs, better grip, cornering is much different I actually clipped the left wheel taking the first 90 degree corner. Wont be doing that again. Probably cos i was nervous driver. The panel damage is minor on drivers side should be easily fixed. Effortless acceleration. Tendency for speedo to get up there very quick on even low boost. Time for TLC, clean, nice oil, filter recharge, and eventually panel beating.
  16. Yes *apparently* it was owned by some Chinese businessman so I think it may have been treated well. However, signs are that he got bored with his toy and let maintenance slip in recent times. I'll rectify that.
  17. Yea. It would be sitting the garage for a while so I would drop the oil, recharge the filters and do the timing belt then. What does clutch slip sound like I thought that you would feel it rather than hear it? Pinging also I have no idea what that sounds like. I've heard lots of people talk about these things but if u haven't actually experienced them yourself it might be hard to identify? The smoke bit makes sense. Thanks for the contacts will keep them in mind when the time comes.

  19. Fuzzy dice - a must in any GTR.
  20. Provided REVS works out & I buy the car (looks like it) I'll c if I can post some pics. Its a bit on the bling, bling side with the bonnet vents and pins. I like the side skirts and front bar but might trade that bonnet in for a standard one. I kind of dig the clean sleeper look. I'm too old for bling bling rice (Reminds me to remove nismo sticker from boot). Is it possible to powerdercoat silver mags to make them gunmetal. Is this expensive? Firsts things first though - straighten that panel and get a good alarm. Oh and change the oil with some HQ synth, buy and use a K&N filter recharge kit, fix slo leak, and most importantly replace the wiper blades
