  1. Fully agree with you dude, before you buy have a look at all the other import places available, even some of the smaller importers that list cars on car sales have some good deals and great condition cars. Highly recommend you do some searching on the places you are looking to buy from first! You'll be suprised at how much you can find out about some shops As a matter of interest, how much was the 33 you were looking at through JSA?
  2. Sorry mate, but i will have to decline your generous offer, but feel free to go ahead and buy the brand new unit if you consider it to be a better deal rather than starting price debates in peoples threads - tsk tsk moderator In addition to this the unit is only around 6 months old and was professionally wired in by the workshop that also tuned the AFC. I am open to offers guys but not rediculous ones
  3. Hi all, I have here an Apexi AFC Neo for sale, the reason for sale is its time to upgrade to a full ECU. With a pod, exhaust, and FMIC this got me to 205 Kw at the wheels on a SII RB25DET. Unit is in excellent condition, I bought this unit brand new from another forum member not too long ago. Wiring is fairly simple and the interface is easy to use. This is still in my car running at the moment so for those who are looking to pick up can see for themselves the working unit. Selling for $450, located in the western suburbs (melbourne) - shipping at buyers cost. Cheers, Frank

  14. hey mate, what are you interested in having posted?
  15. yeh I got sick of using the coat hanger, so i just pulled back the gaurd. either way works, i guess it comes down to technique and patience - and I can't same i'm patient when it comes to these things haha.
  16. if it were me I would get the replacement parts and fix it the proper way, you dont know what damage you could cause to not just the shocker but the car. i could be wrong mate, but it does look like the top nut is missing. if they are tein and your in melbourne you can contact centreline suspension and they maybe able to help you out, otherwise fulcrum in queensland should be able to i'm pretty sure they are the distributor for tein in aus.
  17. it looks like other than just the top nut a couple of parts are simply missing, do you know what brand the coils are? you might be able to get a replacement nut and what ever other parts are needed from the manufacturer and easily fix it that way. at the same time though you've been driving around on it like that, I would be concerned if anything was damaged - but this can be easily checked by removing the coil and inspecting.
  18. mate, i would say from the photos it looks like the top nut has come off which holds the top plate to the spring and shocker. I wouldnt drive around, I would try and find that missing nut which by the sounds of it wouldnt be an option? that bang might be the spring bouncing, or the shock dropping an coming back up..
  19. hey mate I don't have a pic for you, but the way I have ran mine is down into the hole below the factory boost solenoid (it's a large hole). It leads to the top side of your inner plastic wheel guard (inside your fender), if you remove this plastic guard at the back you'll see a few cables running into a large grommit which leads into the cabin. You can punch a hole in this grommit and run your boost gauge wire/hose in through there, then all you need to do is remove the kick panel pull the wire/hose through the grommit and connect it to your gauge. hope this helps cheers, frank
  20. Well done mate, you finally got around to cleaning out the garage, the mrs must have been on your back haha
