Im also currently doing my research and considering buying a v35 coupe. There recently seems to be a lot going up for auction with a few 2003 premium coupe models as low as 1.1m yen. Is this a trend that will most likely continue? The five year rego on cars in japan obviously means that 2003 models are now in that range, is it common for a large amount of vechiles to be put up for auction because of this? For example this 2003 premium coupe on J-Spec's page: http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=13298 Can anyone advise if there is something in particular i need to be looking/checking for in these vechiles? I have even seen the non premium models dropping under 20k landed + complied. I guess i would like some advice on if i should be acting on these prices now or if its a trend that is most likely going to continue with this model?

Im not going to lie, i have very minimal knowledge of importing cars. With that out of the way i have recently been trying to research the topic. Im on the market for a new car with a total budget around 26k and initially not many cars that were in my price range grabed my attention locally. Then i began looking at imports and have become quite excited at the prospect of importing a V35 coupe. Iv checked multipule sites including J-Spec (Much talked about on these forums) Imports101, Prestige Motorsport ect ect Prestige motorsport seem to generally be giving lower prices for a landed and complied v35. With many examples between 20 - 22k. Can anyone advise me if they are reputable company or not? Would they be giving lower quotes for a bad reason? Im bassically wanting to know if Prestige are a reputable company? Also if anyone has managed to recently import a v35 for 25k or less landed and complied?
