Also an update on the old mans R34, i spent a bit of time making a new trubo setup for this and it all worked out pretty well. started off with 1 new exhaust manifold from Sinco Customs A Turbonetics Turbo and tial 44mm wastegate And got to work And with Mike from Diesel & turbocharger services tuning the nistune ecu we stopped at 14psi with it droping off to 11psi until I sorted the boost issue, now with a flatish 14~15psi we have 260kw at the wheels with the Revs shooting up from 3500rpm.

So since trackday i have purchased and fitted some 750cc injectors removing the standard items, i have also opend up the wastegate ports inside the exhaust manifold to fix the boost creep problem, the goal is 300kw (402hp) A few things out of shape after trackday.. Removed the exhaust manifold & gave it to a mate to open up the w/g ports Also purchased a new vehicle with a little more grunt than the hilux to tow the skyline. 4.2 Diesel manual 116,000kms

Alrite its been a while.... a long while... so ill try make this atleast a half decent post. So far the R32 has survived another event so ill share that with everyone, a totally awesome day out drifting with the Zokusha Worx crew Well the morning didn't start so great, just driving the car to line up the engine didn't feel or sound right. Out on the track it was cutting out, feeling underpowerd and pretty much just driving me crazy. I spent most of the morning trying to fix it tighting up everything checking every sensor and connection, in the end it seems it was the main ECU connector that needed a slight tweak and by about 11:30 it was all go and I could start getting some decent drifting in. The track was Taupo Track 3 the back section of Taupo Motorsport park.

Finally took the R32 to an event, PowerCruise #45 at Taupo motorsport park. I had a Great time and cant wait to for the next one with more power! Silver mate, The last few months iv just been taking the car out for a few late night missions and drives out in the country. For not having a wheel alignment the thing drove pretty damn well, but I have recently fitted some Partshop max solid rear subframe bushes and got it a decent wheel alignment Now the first problem, something had to happen eventualy.. The gearbox is in desperate need of some new bearings. Im planning on taking it to powercruise at Taupo motosport park in November, so im borrowing a gearbox of a mate and spending the next montho or so getting the car 100% ready for the track. Helped assembly a friends RB27dett on the weekend.

The R34 also got some love this week, Nistune installed and tuned This is Torque & AFR from the standard tune with pod filter and exhaust This was with adding the front mount intercooler and a few quick chnges to the tune A bit more tuning And this is where we finished up on 10psi boost, the difference is amazing it pulls much harder now.

On 13psi we had 252kw at the wheels but the injectors were at 100% duty cycle so it was droped back to 10psi and this is what I left with She still pulls nice and hard on the street, ill be going back with some bigger injectors and modified manifold sometime soon. Boost creeps from poor manifold design..

Time for some updates, iv been super slack lately so I will try an redeem myself. Dyno time. First run just running waste gate spring pressure (8psi) and boost creeping to about 11psi it made 266kw (356hp) at the wheels. Next will be tuning with the boost solenoid wired in and running around 14psi.

Some quick vids of how she sounds with the new exhuast, still needs a tune, iv had a bit of fuel pulled out and the tps map from jonos s13 (the white one from stadium drift tuned by mercury) put in but thats it, still runs pretty rough.

Its just sitting there at the moment man while i get some money together for a tune, iv only got this small vid of it

Most of the laurel is wired up now,its anoying things like intercooler piping,hoses and exhuast that need to be done before it can fire up but its getting there.

Did you manage to get it running on all 6 dude? Going to be starting the job of wireing my rb20det loom into a rb20e laurel very soon. It would be good to run it up on the dyno since you have got the chipped ecu, then you can try get the boost in the right spot so it doesnt run to rich or lean. If the limmiter has been set to 7300rpm then thats lower than the factory 7500rpm

Almost ready to drop the new engine/gearbox into the laurel, i fitted a new Exedy 5puk clutch aswell. Also i had my mate modify my factory intake manifold for me, turned out pretty good to.

Finished off the manifold today My next mission will be moding the factory heat sheild to fit

Haha Just a short skiny screamer for some serious noise is what it needs i think. The laurels gota be up to cert and warrent standard,so ill have to make a plumb in setup for the screamer aswel.
